Thanks to any and all who cover DE when shit happens in my world. It's been particularly eventful of late, and I appreciate it. (Note: Tomorrow continues to be Student Teaching Fridays, so more helpfulness of a sub DE is needed!)

That being said: Who is apping who this go round? How do we not have a Troy and Abed yet?

Can I ask if we get a lot of apps these days? Because the Bar seems really empty of late.

We've currently got about nine apps in the inbox. We've had a number of people apping lately and then not posting at all, and other people who submit partial apps and never correct the problem- there's someone who joined the cast list with Ensign Ro, but never sent in an app or clicked Join Community- so there's that problem as well.

I have two possible apps I am really, really torn between (which is why it's the 7th and I still haven't apped either one). But I've hardly gotten to play my two from last month on account of RL craziness, so I may wind up waiting until next month.

I... have no idea who Troy and Abed are, so I'm afraid I can't help there.

But, unexpected though it is, I am apping this month! One of Felix's demicanonmates - demi because they don't appear in the same game - named Karis. It should be interesting.

I have a character who I've been sitting on for a few months now, two characters who are stuck in the middle of either being deleted or rebooted, one character I've been wanting to play more but who I've had no energy to do so lately, and the loudest one who I do play but have been stuck in slows with because my brain protests as I'm in the last couple of weeks in the semester.

I'm not apping anyone new - no new headvoices have really grabbed me as of late (except Rebecca, and (a) I have enough 'characters from the same canon' going on, and (b) it wouldn't be half as fun without Jack for her to snark at).
I keep considering retiring or adopting out some of my older characters (because let's face it, at this point I'm never going to put Larry through the second movie), but not doing it out of laziness. Maybe the extra week with apps open will get me off my ass.

Also my second job is making me feel weird, they've got some students doing some of the work I started. Which one makes me feel a little sad like maybe they don't need me anymore and I wish they'd talked to me about how to do things. The other thing is that it also makes me feel good as I actually set up a system where they can have less trained people come in and do things. Its started me off in a weird place for today.
