Well not much recently rp wise. Well, a little back and forth banter on twitter, but this morning I dreamed I sent out a note book of my plot notes and plot ideas out to one of you people, it got passed around by the Milliways muns and then came back to me full of awesome plot notes. I was happy.

Then I dreamed that I slept in late, and woke up to a bunch of people arguing about golf.

Besides that stuff, I have been busy writing a paper on the Chinese Remainder Theorem and redirecting spam on the Milliwiki.

Pretty easy, yes. It's simple enough that the lack of a printed pattern is no problem, and the size (particularly of the straps) is easily adaptable. I think the specified tail length was chosen because it's about half of a standard fabric width; it's very convenient.

Ellen put up the world's most straightforward recruiting poster, Gordon got back into the Bar, and I've got a pot of cottage cheese-to-be setting up on the stove while two loaves of whole wheat sandwich bread bake in the oven. Oh, and the ricotta insalata that I made two weeks ago, that had to age? That turned out excellent too.

I helped to put on a Webinar and I got into the course I needed for this summer. Now I'm just trying to get another group project done by Wednesday and I wish I could be out in the pretty weather. I just don't feel awake at all today.

Sam went to Posner's Sheffield and I had such fun with this OOM.

Demeter's enjoying having her daughter and Spring.

She was also completely unhelpful to poor blushing Teja. The Joye of Snackes seems rather fun to her.

RPG wise I mostly kept several slowtimes alive but...
I did bring Val von Doom back (aside from her two EPs, she's met Izumi Ako (http://community.livejournal.com/milliways_bar/24010980.html?thread=1081162212#t1081162212) and is starting to catch up with Sameth (http://community.livejournal.com/milliways_bar/24010031.html?view=comments)),
moved Ult. Ben through canon a bit (http://unbreakableben.livejournal.com/3042.html) (he signed up for Ellen's next mission (http://community.livejournal.com/milliways_bar/24013838.html?thread=1081298446#t1081298446) and met Cyborg (http://community.livejournal.com/milliways_bar/24014418.html))
and then played with Dr. Hank Pym over in [livejournal.com profile] mixed_muses  wherein he met The Fool (http://community.livejournal.com/mixed_muses/1012061.html) and an alternate reality version of his late wife (http://community.livejournal.com/mixed_muses/1011331.html).

In RL, yesterday my family and I had a screen time blackout day (no TV or computers) which was a nice change. I think I may be encouraging this as a regular thing. Today I stayed home to clean the house while they are out swimming.

I have been major fail in the RP zone, but this week I set up what I think will be the successful grand theory structure for my dissertation, leading to what may end up as a possible modification of current applied theory in my field (maybe, if all goes well and the stars continue to align).

So, uh, that's why I've not been around much.

RL is still pinning me down from proper RP but I do finally have something in the works for Rachel.

Also, finished knitting a baby afghan and just took a new scarf out of the wash. Waiting for them to dry so I can mail it all off.
