...yes, that is my serious suggestion.

My runner-up suggestion is Sam/Everyone (including inanimate objects). Someone even made a rather brilliant video on YouTube on the very subject. It is amazeballs.

Sam/Annie are OK too, I suppose. And the Sam/Gene goes without saying, even if only in fic-land. Because canonically, OH HELL NO. But in the good fics, I can buy it. Sometimes.
