No, no new developments in my current pups' canons. One of the potentials is in an ongoing thing, and may in fact have died recently. We'll see how that turns out.

As for new canons: see icon. I can't actually blame Leesha, but her request on the app-this thing last week was the most proximate cause.

Finally watching the Pirates of the Caribbean movies. Rented the first two together with a one-day due date, not realizing how long they were. Insufficient sleep. Will likely spend the day muttering either "brains" or "arrrr."

I'm loving the new FF and have been sucked into Amazing Spider-man as they're there as well. Cringing at the depressing stuff that's happening to Ben though, especially Fear Itself (which I am hoping won't be like all the other lukewarm crossovers).

New canon to series I already read: Magic Slays (Kate Daniels series...damn Andrea and that is all I'm going to say) and The Warlock (The Secrets of the Immortal Nicholas Flamel and damn Mr. Scott cliffhanger much? Granted he's done it with each book so I shouldn't be surprised).

New characters: well he's not exactly new but Palamedes has really captured my imagination to the point I'm researching the Arthurian romances for him. And let me just say I am none to impressed with Tristan's moral character.

New PotC film = new opportunities for Gibbs down the line. Just not sure when. (May jump the gun and do Mixed Muses.)

CharlieQuestion will probably remain dead in the revised DC Universe. But you never know.

Oddly, while I don't play DCU Cyborg, I do essentially own the rights to him, and if his new prominent role in the JLA is interesting, I could do things with that. Though I've never found the comics version as interesting as the cartoon version.

X has actually had some recent canon I kind of almost liked! The crossover with Daken in Dark Wolverine was actually comparatively spiffy. Minus the part where there was torture with chainsaws again.

But she gets to go 'You're injured, get in there'. And shoves him into a closet while she takes out the crazy people.

And then the Big Bad is all 'mwahahaha I have planted this bomb here that will go off in TWENTY SECONDS. Go on and try to disarm it, I dare you.'

And X and Daken are all 'No. We're fine here, thanks'. And then there is an explosion. And they are reduced to skeletons while discussing their philosophies of life and judging each other for them. And then they walk away from the exploded building.

DC canon has been mostly dead to me (except the Batfamily) for about a year now. THANKS JMS.

Mass Effect 3 isn't out yet, so no new canon for Wrex.

And the new book for the Infinity miniatures game Tarik is from is supposed to come out sometime in the next couple years.

So no, no new canon information for my current characters.


As for new canons, I'm having a hard time not apping Bronn from Game of Thrones. Or Theon Greyjoy. Or Jaime Lannister. Or the Hound. Or... (I'm re-reading the first book as we watch the series and considering shelling out the money for the second and following ones). In short, anyone but the Starks (Maybe, just maybe Sansa).

No new canon yet (ONLY ONE MONTH TO GO THOUGH), but I did catch a new W13 promo commercial the other day. Yes, okay, the new guy can tell if people are lying, but I reeeeeally don't think Pete's GIANT FAKE SMILE was working in his favor. (Seriously, fakest fake smile ever to fake.)
I can't wait! I have devoured spoilers like a spoiler-devouring thing and this season is going to be so awesome.

Two are filming right now, one is going to be broadcast soonish (and may result in "la la la I can't hear you"), and one starts today and my character desperately needs an EP.

Surprisingly enough, I've heard rumors of remaking Mia's game.

Again.

Because apparently there's another system that doesn't have Lunar yet that really really wants it. If it actually happens, this will be the fourth time Mia's game has been remade, not counting the original Sega CD release. Also, there's ongoing work by devoted fans to make a Mother 4. It's still incredibly early in the project but there are pictures and music samples on their website.

New to me? Not really. But I'm determined to binge on Adventure Time with Finn and Jake this week.

I have an unreasonable love for Lady Rainicorn. She's just so darn charming! No wonder Jake's dating her. I'm also intrigued by Fionna from the gender-switched cast Adventure Time with Fionna and Cake. Not to mention Prince Gumball, the gender-switched Princess Bubblegum who will be voiced by Neil Patrick Harris. :D

Nope. Not until book four comes out for Eragon. All my other canons are pretty much dead and done for.

Not watching any new shows, but I picked up the first book in a new series, The Iron Druid Chronicles by Kevin Hearne. The first book is called Hounded. Oddly, the main character on the book cover, which I imagine then is how the main character looks like, looks a lot like my pair of twins that I keep in Mixed Muses. Sadly I have no idea how to identify the model.

I don't know what that entails exactly, but the game developers are putting in auras to the game sometime this month. So Amascut probably has some aura that I have given no thought to

Also, those that play Mahjarrat pups on twitter got their knickers in a twist about leaked news concerning a game update they have been waiting on for ages. Who knows if Amascut will be involved in that one.

I try to watch Fringe and Bones reruns when I can. I almost watched Burn Notice but couldn't get into it. Monk and Numb3rs on occasion. And almost always in between watching reruns of various Space MacGyver series I manage to catch a Dead Like Me episode. Don't fell any headvoices coming on from those shows, though.
