ATTN EVERYONE: IMPORTANT -- BAR MOD PLOT POST

Ok! The day has arrived!

Tonight there will be an event perpetrated by Todd & Co. on the bar, and, consequently, on Bernard. I am taking Bernard out for the month of November, as I said.

What I need from everyone is this: selective blindness. Our plot hinges on no one seeing Todd and his minion(s) doing what they do. Just think of it as the bar being so busy that no one notices the boys making mischief.

Rest assured. They'll get theirs in the end. But for now, it'll be a Milliways Mystery: Who Hurt Bernard? And Bigby will be in charge of the investigation.

I WILL be around in general online. If you need me as the Bar Mod, you can contact me. I just won't be in play except for the occasional fever dream.

Since Peter is probably going to be tending Bernard for the next month, could you please e-mail with what is going to be wrong with Bernard so that Peter neither heals Bernard instantly nor looks like a total fool for not being able to do so?

(Also, I'd like to point out that there are others in the bar who have healing magic--such as Tim and Moiraine. And they are good at healing.)

So yes. Any information you could provide about Bernard's injuries, and about why the magical healers in the bar can't heal him (at least not immediately) would be very helpful.
