I am in love with not being at work today. And the power of sleep to make me feel human.
Gene is always, evermore, in love with his car. And his gun. And his job (sort of). And if you cornered 80s!Gene and subjected him to extreme torture, and promised him that no one would ever find out he said it...he might put Alex on the list.
Alex is deeply amused that it would take that much to get her on the list, after the bloody car.
Alex loves her daughter, Molly. She loves her team, as mental as they all are. And in the quiet moments at the end of the day, when she's telling her secrets to the tape recorder, she will confess that she loves a man she thinks will never love her in the same way. Because he's a pig-headed, conceited, immature bastard with more emotional attachment to his car than to a woman who might actually be his equal.
Another for Friday. I'm also loving Eon: Dragoneye Reborn and my reread of the Saga of the Pliocene Exile. And Julie Finster is being lots of fun this week. =]
And can I just say all of you? I didn't give nearly enough love in the love meme because far too many of the folks listed I kind of knew but couldn't place the pup but you all are amazing!
Also in love with the skills of Jose Reyes and therefore still in love with the Mets. Who will always be the better team in NYC to me, no matter what logic or the standings say.
I'm in love with my coworker's peanut butter pie. I try to buy a slice with my paycheck every Friday. I'm also in love with Coffee Fool. And I'm in love with Mandy. Because she's writing a fic for me. <3
Mia's in love with Draco, of course. And since we're talking about all sorts of love, she's also in mommy-love with her baby Cepheus, naturally.
I'm having some massive resurgence of Avatar:The Last Airbender love. The only thing keeping me from a full canon rewatch is the fact that I've loaned my season one out.
Because you should. It's brilliant and delightful.

The only thing better than his reactions, are the .gifs that people leave in the comments.
(I've watched the GAang vid for "Paper Planes" at least once every day for the last week. Damn it,...now I want to watch it again...)

Clementine: Saaam, even if she's too pigheaded to notice it.
Dixie: See icon, and ditto.
