Wednesday Night Shout Outs!

It's Wednesday! For many of you out there with direct deposits, that means PAYDAY. But what is this? Wednesday is a payday of another sort? Whatever could you mean, Gabby? Oh, that's right, it's time to bring out your best, your brightest, your favoritest threads of the week! And it has been a BUSY week. *having a hard time limiting my choices*

  • Michelangelo tackled Happy Hour last week and let me say, it's good having him back in my Stalk These Threads folder. His conversation with Diana especially had me grinning.
  • Ben Grimm has been churning out a series of wonderful OoMs lately. If you haven't been reading them, do yourself a favor right now and catch up.
  • I think we can all agree, there are a couple of kids around Milliways that really must stop breaking our hearts.

    Little Edward is so adorable and confounding!

    Luna and Raylan are charming and I love reading all of Luna's reactions to a horrible moment in canon.

    PJO!Apollo and Orpheus are made of charming and smirk.

    Nepeta and Karkat, I don't know their canon but they're wonderful. All of the threads are great.

    Apollo is having waaaaaaay too much fun messing with Moist.
    (Also I had a mental image earlier of the new guy on Warehouse 13 - who, as it happens, can tell when people are lying - trying to get through a conversation with Moist. Poor Steve's head would explode but it would be HILARIOUS.)

    I was thinking about tagging him with Dem last night but other voices were louder and then decided to be mean to Moist tonight.

    Apollo is such fun, he's one of the gods that Riordan really got right in my opinion.

    Ah thank you so much for the shout out! Those OOMs were kinda heart breaking to write but I felt his depression had to last more than one page as it does in canon.

    Possibly...Thalia doesn't swim that well though and I'm making it so she has to feel life or death emotions to call down lightening, so she can't strike form a distance. I dont' know that she'd get violent with William.

    She might want to but I don't think she'd go for revenge or vigilante action. She might confront the mermaid and depending on how that went, it could turn sour. Does her voice effect woman as well as men?

    Part of her might justify the fight as getting rid of a monster which obviously we would have to work out if we wanted to go there. She would have a struggle between following the rules* and her instincts though so it isn't guaranteed to lead to blood.

    *Being a daughter of Zeus I am having her very committed to law and hospitality, like almost OCD committed.

    We should plot about this because the mermaid makes William want to sink into the ground due to how easily she can manipulate him.

    I'd love to make this a thing with him and Thalia since he's so honest but also hates how this goes. Plot email time perhaps?
