What's even better is that Fenris lives in a magical universe, but he hates magic and mages for reason of backstory blah blah. He can barely handle Milliways at all, but one of the first people he met told him a bit about science and such things. Now Fenris rationalizes anything he's uncomfortable with by saying it's from "the future" -- no matter whether some one is from an alternate universe, a different planet, or uses other types of magic Fenris is unfamiliar with. It's all "the future" to Fenris.

And he is terrified suspicious of the Bar. He won't go near her. He gives all his requests to the rats. Hee!
