GOOD MORNING. I see you are awake. And downstairs, as you needed to do that to fetch your laptop.
Want to see Cowboys & Aliens this afternoon after the softball game? On me; I found a hidden tip in my bag. Mall has it at 3:40 (which we can make if we have to forfeit) and 5 this afternoon.
This week was good. Long, but good. Not productive at all on the RP front, but I think mentally I held up all right throughout the workload I had to deal with. Also, training new people.
Awake! Downstairs! Avec coffee! And bacon! Exclamation point!
Sure — sounds good to me! I'll be able to squeeze in a couple more episodes of Six Feet Under while you and J go play in the humidity. Related: Uh, is it sad that I just realized the title is a play on "cowboys and Indians"? Because I think that's pretty sad.
I WROTE THINGS FOR PEOPLE. AND COULD NOT POST THEM. But, hey, I'm on Team Russian Bloggers, so I won't whinge too loud over here.
I think I should be glad that I got to thread at all, what with LJ being borked. I had been busy in RL at the beginning anyway, and when LJ came alive again, I made a new 'Everybody' icon and put up an everybody post, which is still definitely open. But the thread with Amascut and the mermaid is definitely finished already; they parted on very bad terms...
I am still seeing a handful of tiny, weird hiccups, when I'm trying to use LJ Login, in particular, to hit back tags; tearful Frank occasionally appears to give me a 503. But, so far, a simple stop + refresh has worked wonders!
Because tearful Frank is giving me flashbacks to the creeptastic goat man from the Cremaster Cycle, and I can do without that. For, oh, forever. *laughing*
Rachel and Peeta just finished this second -- building a house of cards and being, perhaps, circumspectly comforting to each other. Though neither would ever admit needing it or finding it. Especially in this thread.
I'm working on writing up my last assignment of grad school and in between have been doing some quiet threading.
Not as much as normal because LJ has been slow but I've been able to post various things and hit William with plotty things. I might come back later and post them but for now to finish the grant.
Didn't get much done on the RP front thanks to LJ. But I did knock off a story this weekend, even though I was at work ALL THE DAYS: A thing of beauty (is a joy forever), or: the other half of the Artifact story from "Age Before Beauty." (Major spoilers for that ep and a teeny one for "Where and When.") Also about the closest to RPF I'm likely to get.

I really try to make those pages vanish as quickly as possible.

Weird.
We're no longer in the mid-90s for people to be so paranoid about their bandwidth...
