I just finished my Ten Year Reunion. I think the sheerness of it has left my brain in 'hangover space.' BUT I made it?

I finished my last assignment of graduate school and I've been resting and making plans for all my next steps. What that means is the month of August onwards is for sending out job applications.

Also writing, I currently have an AU that's vaguely 1950s with Kait and Sameth that's past a 2000+ words. I feel like as I stopped having schoolwork, the fiction writing part of my brain woke up and went yay, I can write!

My RP has been slightly slower but there have been some wonderful threads.

Demeter and Alex broke my heart, Alex's canon is so cruel.

Ellen and William were also great and hard.

Moist taught Albus to draw, this ended up such a sweet thread.

William is confused and a bit insulted by Tower and Tamara.

Over in Mixed Muses:

Moist meets Cherry Littlebottom and this thread makes me grin. I love Discworld pups so much.

Tiwa met Snape and confusion reigned.

THINGS I DID THIS WEEK:

1. Survived yet another family vacation. Go me.
1a. Remembered that sleep deprivation makes me act drunk. Or drugged. I caused myself actual pain from laughter the last night because I couldn't manage the simple task of putting lip balm on the appropriate body part, so.
1b. Also, I have made 'horriful' a word. You're welcome.

2. Finished Alex's OOMs and brought him back into the Bar. FOR ALL YOUR BROKEN TEENAGER NEEDS.

3. I sang (http://www.box.net/shared/nnli9hvyy5p5sy8d97vm) things (http://www.box.net/shared/26juad4lfj44g1pxbhhy) starting with 's'.

4. I finished my (first) Alex Rider fanmix (http://spiffynamehere.livejournal.com/119200.html).

5. I applied for Sam Goode and Jack Slater.

6. I also wrote some other stuff that I haven't edited/typed out yet.

I like your ideas! It was hard for me to decide which pup to throw at him. In the end I basically had to flip a coin, only I had to do it multiple times because I was narrowed down to 4 possibilities. Ahh.

Meanwhile, in non-RP news, I cataloged every single book and DVD in my apartment, cleaned up the Blob-like piles of junk threatening to overtake my living room (seriously, some things had been in these precariously stacked piles for months *winces*), and gathered all the materials to build a giant hammer for no more than the cost of spray paint. I am by turns alarmed and delighted by my productivity this weekend. \o/

I attended my brother's wedding! Which was in another state than where I live! And I got separated from the other car going over one of the bridges because my dad either didn't notice the speed limit dropping or forgot that I would notice and comply. But! We found each other again.

And I have absolutely no plans except "try to register for classes" until Saturday, so I'll be EPing most or all of my pups tomorrow, as well as tagging Fluttershy's threads.
