Okay, so. The Were-Wiener plot is due to come to a head on Monday, September 12. Therefore it is time to start planning the OOM in which the Alpha Wurst is tracked down and vanquished. I need a list of who wants to participate and what times you will be available for the next three days. (We can stretch threading out for longer than that and Millitime it, but if we can get it all done in that timeframe, so much the better.) I myself will be working, but I'll be available to thread starting around 2-3 PM Pacific time until around 10 PM.

While the wiener-slaying posse is doing their thing, you might wonder, what will be happening to all the Minions? I'm glad you asked. On Monday morning, I will post an EP in the main community that will serve as the catalyst for the Wiener Uprising, in which the Minions try to gain control of the Bar itself. It'll be a no-holds-barred brawl between the Minions and those not yet infected; as long as it's kept within the confines of that EP, pretty much anything goes. There'll be another post when the Alpha Wurst dies wherein the minions regain their senses, and that'll be the end of the plot.

If you have any questions or suggestions, please post them below. If you want to be in the posse to take down the Alpha Wurst, also post below with your AIM screenname, the pup(s) you want to use, and the times you will be available to thread.

I think Thalia kind of volunteered herself for me by meeting Apollo. She has the advantage of having her Aegis which causes terror to those before it. I'm fine with it not working so well within Milliways or working perfectly well depending on what's needed for plot.

I'm thinking she'll go for the Alpha Dog unless you'd prefer her inside for crowd control.

My AIM is delmcatee and I'll be on all day all three days but most likely my best availability will be afternoons until 4pm Pacific time.

And I completely failed to read the "what times you will be available for the next three days". I would say sporadic but I can login and read the plotting as it happens. Actually sitting down for any long spell ain't likely to happen. If this makes it not work well for me I can bow out Thalia.

This weekend is the Small Press Expo, so I'll only be guaranteed free in the evening, starting... oh, say 8:00 (Eastern) tomorrow and 7:00 Sunday. Though there might be more than that if I exhaust the Expo's possibilities early. If I'll really be needed at a particular time, I can probably arrange matters, but let me know in advance.

Monday, I get home from work around 8 pm. (That's if I don't go walking with Mom, which we tend to do, but I can arrange matters if necessary.) During work, I can manage the occasional tag, but no heavy-duty threading. Though there is a possibility that they won't have any new projects in for me to work on, in which case I will stay home and be wide open!

Apollo is very much interested in putting a stop to the hot dog menace, at least in part so he didn't talk to a customer service lackey in vain. XD
So: AIM SN is anthillinside42; I'm available after about 3 PM EST tomorrow till about 10, hopefully the same time frame on Sunday (certainly after 6 PM, I should think), and before 3 PM on Monday due to work. (After work, I'm liable to be a bit distracty due to new Warehouse 13, but I'll be on.)

As to the uprising, Cata is glaring and recommending that people leave the Medic to her.

Also also, Apollo will be willing to heal up any injuries anyone sustains as part of the fighting (on either side, since getting infected wasn't really anyone's fault).

William's in to help with the Bar threat as he's not in quite fighting trim to go and take on the Alpha Wurst. My aim's FionaLl8 and at this point, I'm open for playing after 6 pm EST all three days and earlier Saturday and Monday.

On Sunday I'm volunteering at a local book thing so maybe later getting online.

I would like to have Red involved, but my available time will be sporadic over the weekend, with the only for sure-ness being after 9pm MDT.

If this is a problem I can just toss him at the minions when that post goes up.

Teja has been involved in finding out about the 'infection', and warning people about it; I held back on purpose because I didn't know how and with whom you were planning to take the were-wieners. But if there is still a spot somewhere to help with bringing it all down, I'd like Teja to be in. He has big axes that are definitely in no way made for cutting sausages, but would, in an emergency...

On the down side, I'm on GMT +1, that is, not on during the usual American evening because that is the very dead of night for me.

Arg, the week escaped my as well. I am in the middle of writing an oom in which Amascut figures the were-weiner thing out. She'll be coming in with a load of silver for the forge, but she may be less than cooperative when it come to handing over the silver to make forks. (OMG you you want to make forks instead of swords and sickles? WTF is wrong with you?)

She would be too tempted to go on a pup killing spree if she is involved in the brawl, so I'll busy her with the Alpha slaying. AIM screenname is amascutcares and I am available from 5pm-9pm Mountain standard time.
