I thought Lyra and Anthy were going to get on. Mademoiselle Original Sin is amoral enough to appreciate Anthy, I think.

Anthy has a separate flower code from her canon, I think. Although I wouldn't be surprised if there's significant overlap.

Yeah, she used the pink rose because it's Utena's color. (Um. All this stuff makes sense in my head, see.)

. . . I have no idea how much of the symbolism in Utena is Western, how much is Japanese, how much is other, and how much is crack.
