T MINUS, YOU GUYS. Claudia is on that like white on rice, of course (my favorite is Artie asking how many Farnsworths she cannibalised to make it); Cata is slightly more dubious, mostly because if Medic didn't get one as well it wouldn't do her much good.

Meanwhile, over in MM, I've been having a blast with Cata's daughter. (Irony: Once she gets off her high horse and actually talks shit through with her mother, they'll probably get on like a house on fire.) And in dear_mun, I might've hopefully found us a Steve for great Warehouse 13 shenanigans.

And to wrap it all up, my brain decided last night was the perfect time to start working on Conversations With Dead People OOMery, so I have one done and another started. ::SITS ON HANDS::

Fun fact: I'd already been planning to give Mac a long-overdue EP on Wednesday night. I even drafted said EP the day before.

Needless to say, I had to rewrite it pretty damn fast when I got home from work and read the news. *wry smile* But! Long-overdue EP has been achieved! Go me.

In RL, I got a new bed frame and successfully assembled it all by my lonesome last night. \o/ My arms and back are still staging a revolt this afternoon, but I have an actualfax bed frame with a headboard and stuff now, so! I am okay with this. (As long as I have ibuprofen close at hand.)

I actually did stuff I can brag about...well sort of brag. I EP'd Ult Ben Grimm from his canon's future (http://milliways-bar.livejournal.com/24270521.html) which was a bit more fun than I expected. I'll have to have him tag folks this week.

I went to Conclave and met Seanan Mcguire and spent rather a lot of money but I'm okay with that. As I have a new sleep shirt, a new everyday bracelet, lovely earrings, books and cds. I love cons but its hard to go to a new one without anyone else, it stretched my look how friendly I can be self. To make up for all this fun, this coming week will be all about finding a job. I also did lots of things in RP.

Sameth ran a happy hour with lots of interesting threads.

Jane was unhelpful to Dean Winchester in lederhosen.

Sam and Posner reconnected, their friendship is one of my favorites.

William met older Bill Pardy and so far this thread is sweet and awkward.

Elsegame, Will did some flying at Hogwarts.

There are a number of other threads that I love too but these ones came to mind first.

So, I did some fund-raising for the Canadian Cancer Society, and managed to raise over $200, which is awesome, and also shaved and donated my hair to Locks of Love so someone who couldn't have hair, could have mine, in wig form.

Hee! It's neat. I mean, I'm not vain about my hair at all, so I figured "why not?", and got it all off.

Also: Oh my god, my hair takes just a few minutes to dry now, in comparison to the 5+ hours it took before.
