What, no DE yet? Here, have one!

Is your character Bound? Have they been previously? Can they be Bound/ever leave, if they are?

I think the only time Enzo was bound was during the Daemonplot, and, unusually, there was a clear reason for this that he was aware of: Dot had sent him there to be safe and remain there until someone came to fetch him, and the Bar or the Landlord or the Door itself was going along with this. As a mark of the unusual circumstances, he could still see his Door, it was just locked. When it became clear that no one would be coming for him, it unlocked.

Ako has been bound since Christmas. Last Christmas maybe. I don't remember. I really need to get her into the Festival arc. Gahh.

Felix hasn't been, in large part because I want to keep the option of playing him from another point on the timeline. This may change once his younger self finishes canon and gets anti-Bound for several years.

Kain has hardly been in, let alone Bound. There's nothing stopping him, but I can't think of a good reason to do so. "Because I can" is a reason, but it currently doesn't seem like a good one.

Fluttershy also hasn't been Bound, and again, there's no real reason to do so. Even if I had a reason, I probably wouldn't go through with it while episodes are airing, unless there's a significant string of episodes without her or my canonmate(s?) and I make arrangements for millitiming.

Ult. Ben is currently Bound for upcoming OOM plot reasons and is using the time to get used to a human body all over again. He's currently from his canon's future. Once the OOM is done, he'll go back and return from his previous point in time.

Val was Bound as she and her reality was rewritten by Franklin Richards or erased by the Ultimate Nullifier depending on how you look at it. Recently though the Landlord has allowed her access to the Multiverse through has technology and powers.

Thalia is Bound and is getting sick of it. At some point I'll have brain space to run her through canon.

And I am crossing my fingers that I can get unBound from work so I can play a bit today.

Alyx was Bound when she first arrived in Milliways, because she arrived via teleporter accident rather than the front door. She's been Bound a couple of other times since then, mostly so Cam and I could take a breather between plot points.

D0G was Bound at the same time Alyx was, for the most part. None of my other current pups have been Bound--in fact, given the way Twilight gets to Milliways, I'm pretty sure she can't be Bound. Hopefully that won't become problematic later, knock on wood...

None of mine are currently Bound!

Ones that have been in the past... mostly just Lan, I think. Lan was Bound for the entire year and a half (or so) that he was at Milliways, because I had to do that in order to keep him here. Otherwise, he would have out the door and back to the pressing business of heading into battle against suicidal odds. And, indeed, as soon as the door unlocked for him, he did that.

Alain was dead the whole time he was in-bar, and Edmund ditto. But both of them could have left at any time. They just knew where the door led, and that it was a one-way trip, so they didn't head out that way for a good while. (Well, Edmund's one-way trip thing was a bit complicated by prior Millicanon, but enh, the gist will stand.)

Will and Edel are my only ones who was ever even potentially immune to being Bound; all the others are too close to baseline human, despite occasional superpowers. Whether Edel could be basically depends on how much Drosselmeyer's powers of creeping around behind the fourth wall are affected by Milliways, which is something we've always kept pretty vague and ambiguous. I wouldn't make her Bound, though, because it's hard enough to sustain any kind of conversation with her without trying to make her interact with people like something other than a deus ex machina. (Uzura... there's more scope there, but I'd need to do it in a plot and have some tradeoffs, blah blah meta goes here.) Will... in theory could be Bound, I guess, but that would have to be something originating from his world rather than from Milliways, I think, and as such it would have to be something huge. Will is a character who travels to the exploding starfield at the end of time and then steps through the door, instead of the other way around, so yeah.

... I'll be over here giggling at this for approximately, oh, ever, just so you know.

I think Mary is the only one of my pups who has ever been (and is currently) Bound.

Binding in her case was necessary, otherwise she would have run screaming back to England and never walked through another door comfortably again as long as she lived.

I've explained that it's temporary and for her own good. She's still not happy with me.

Back when I first started playing in Milliways I ended up making my first two pups Bound right from the get-go. Ironically (or maybe not so much) those were the two pups I ended up dropping.

Currently Malu, Rennes and Rue are all Bound because, well, they're dead. So they can't leave unless they/Bar/Fate/whatever decides its time for them to enter whatever afterlife exists in their canons.

Of my (current) living pups only Lily Luna and Klara have been Bound for a period of time. Klara was Bound to give her something to do during Joss Whedon's agonizing delay the long gap between issues 25 and 26 of Runaways. Although Dani did live in Milliways for a time she technically was not Bound; she just had no reason to return to Amity Park during that time.

CharlieQuestion, being dead, is Bound.

Kirk was Bound initially, and I kept him as such for about six months. I did so as I never felt his relatively grief-free mental state in Star Trek IV made sense. But if he had time to work through his son's death in the Bar, all makes more sense. I suppose if I had time to find something really interesting for him to do while Bound, I would do it again. Unlike my other pups, it seemed to suit him (for a while).

I had Gibbs Bound initially for plot reasons (that is, he was stuck in the Bar between the second and third films). He didn't like it.

Never had Knox or Cyborg get Bound. I think Cy would not want to come back if he got stuck for any length of time, and Knox just belongs in Gotham.

Mel was Bound when she first came in, otherwise she would have left. The others come and go as they like because I've recently realised that i don't have the mental energy to play consistently enough to do justice to a bound pup.

This will chnage for one of them, whom I have decided to kill off >_>

Death, by his very nature, cannot be bound. He is the Assassin Against Whom No Lock Will Hold.

Currently Sameth is Bound but at points I've Bound my others for either plot or canon purposes. Sam's being Bound is mixed up with me working through his canon and its just easier to have him be Bound.

Will's been Bound at various time because I thought it worked or he was mixed up in something in Milliways and needed to be around. Now he goes in and out of the Bar so easily, he doesn't need to be Bound.

I've yet to Bind William or Moist as they're both happy to be in and when little Bill Pardy was Bound, William stayed with him even though he himself wasn't Bound.

Jane's been Bound before for plot purposes but I never keep her very long, same with Tumnus or Demeter.

Binding the Pirate King would make him trickier for me to play as he takes up a lot of head space.

Ace has been bound, usually to keep her from haring off back to where-ever she came from without a second glance. Right now, I don't think I even could, she knows entirely too much and has too many means at her disposal to shake herself free.

Katya is bound, and she really really really doesn't like it.

Glorfindel hasn't been bound, and I think it might be dangerous to do so. He doesn't stand confinement well.

Balthazar also hasn't been bound, and really isn't fond of getting locked in. He might be, someday. >.>

Shaz... I haven't Bound her yet, might have to one of these days. Poor kid.

Cal I haven't bound, and again, it'd be a really bad idea to do so. He gets... prickly. And scary. >.>

Romana... I'd have to do some fancy footwork to get Romana bound. And she's kinda looking at me like I've lost my mind.

Laranth tends to get mini-episodes of being Bound - she's a wary sort of gal, and if I didn't lock the door behind her for a while when she comes through, she'd just turn around and leave. Nutter. I've never kept her in-bar for long periods though.

Bones was Bound a couple times the first time I played him, hasn't yet in this round, though he was persuaded by a certain Other :D

My dead pups (Obi-Wan, Jennifer) are both Bound; they could both leave through somebody else's door, but so far, only Ben actually has done.

Michael was Bound once that I can think of, when he temporarily emptied his quantum pool in Phyrexia. He could become Bound again if he tapped himself out again, or if he reverted to his old self and became a danger to his world.

Strong Bad and The Cheat were Bound when they became Wiener Minions; that's the only circumstance under which they've been dangerous enough for Bar to take such action.

Hiro was Bound when he first followed YT into the bar, but that was because Bar was arranging for the two of them to join forces with the Mainframers. I haven't had him get Bound since, and I can't think why I would do, but that's not to say it couldn't happen.

Dixie is going to be bound fairly soon, thanks to her becoming a government threat in her universe. I have loose plans for Clementine to be Bound somewhere around season 5 of her canon.
