Who's doing one (or more) this year? This is one of my favorite Halloween Millitraditions, and so.

I'm doing two!
Sam is going to have the kind of conversation with his mother that he never got the chance to when they were both alive, for a number of reasons. (Incidentally, of the characters I've done these for, I think Cata's the only one who hasn't talked to a family member. But then, that wouldn't have done her half as much good as the one she did have.)
And Claudia's getting another one this year, hopefully with 100 percent less SURPRISE GRIEVING. It helps in that respect that it's not family for her, this year. Hers is going up tomorrow, if not tonight (her visit to Enzo's world is a perfect excuse for her to fall asleep in the bar!); Sam's will be sometime this weekend.

But the one is going to be Balthazar, because clearly I haven't been evil enough to him yet this year.

I said last night in Crackchat that I don't think my pups would benefit, but it occurred to me this morning that I may have been hasty in that judgement. Cubefall certainly helped with Felix's issues, but they're not resolved yet.

That said, I am very nearly certain that I don't have the brain-time to come up with a conversation while also fulfilling my responsibilities to school and (short-term) employment and my other-pup canonmately agreements. Particularly since Felix's dead person is difficult for me to write.

Not sure yet! I enjoy the tradition, and I've gotten some really fun RP out of it, but I'm not sure who I'd do it with this year.

River's most likely, because it's been a while and because it's pretty easy to arrange for her to fall asleep on the premises, but I don't have a specific idea of whom I'd throw at her.

I'm tempted to write one for Ult. Ben but it would end up being a spoiler for canon which I haven't written yet.

No other pups come to mind though if I had Thalia back in canon she could do with a chat with her mother.

I've been considering it this year. In the past I've done one for Gordon, two for Shephard (one of which was more of a 'fishing trips with dead people' than conversations, really), one for Medic, and one for Ellen. The question now is who to inflict it on, and then who they'd wind up talking with; I'm pretty sure that if I did Ellen again I wouldn't give her either of her parents, because that would just make things too easy on her...
