I did a lot this week. I have plans to have job hunt related interviews over the Thanksgiving break and I hope to make tamale pie tonight.

In terms of writing, William being sick in OOM and EP make me happy. The thread with Mary Bennet is one of my favorites.

Artemis and Demeter are quiet and I love them.

William is getting in trouble with the mermaid.

Over in Mixed Muses lots of stuff is happening. Tiwa and Charles are reacting to various things. Tiwa to Matt's plot and Charles to Milliways, Charles is threading with a Logan and it makes me glee.

Charles met a Newsie, I may have squeed a little at my screen.

Also Jess from New Girl and this thread is charming and silly.

This week Karkat fed a hungry vampire, introduced Milliways to the joys of the Trollian memo function, and had an epic-level feelings jam with Nepeta.

However the only thing I am going to link to is this amazing thing.

Innnn this caw-nawh, we have Puck meeting some dude named Jim (http://milliways-bar.livejournal.com/24330365.html?thread=1100247421#t1100247421). At first he was like, "Wine and French? In some cultures does this already count as cheating on my assassin boyfriend?" And then it became clear that what was really on the menu WAS EVIL.

Which. It's getting to be the season for it, as Amy pointed out.

In the Mixed Muses cawnaaaaah, a demon has escaped and is roaming the upstairs halls (http://mixed-muses.livejournal.com/1086387.html). Thanks to stubbornness stupidity manliness, Matt has followed Jordie up there to make sure said demon doesn't eat him! In the meantime, there are many other lovely threads of woe and investigation and I anticipate more!

In RPage, speaking of that guy named Jim, Cata isn't liking him much so far.

Otherwise, um... I re-staged 28 feet of envelope displays in 45 minutes yesterday? I think that's pretty awesome. And Yuletide noms are open. And I wrote a bit of a Once Upon a Time fic last night.

It started off well when Pos opened his letter and got his reward.

Then there was the dreaded phone call, and a time to say goodbye.

But it ended on a hopeful note with a long overdue conversation about the subjunctive.

I wrote a Cabin Pressure/Sherlock (http://remindmeofthe.livejournal.com/478299.html) crossover with which I am inordinately pleased. It is possibly the longest fic I've ever written, which doesn't mean much because the previous contender for that title was like six thousand words, but still! It's exciting.

I also managed to start and finish a thread in Milliways, which I haven't done in ridiculously long, but what else is one to do when confronted with Jim Moriarty but tag him with the Devil (http://milliways-bar.livejournal.com/24330365.html?thread=1100250237#t1100250237)? (Especially when I've got my own Moriarty stamping around on my synapses since writing the aforementioned crossover. Keep an eye on MM, guys, I'm afraid he might dig in and start rewiring things if I don't indulge him.)

And now I must return to . . . totally not getting any homework done, but that's a topic for a different post.
