Holiday DE: Writer's Block: Happy Turkey Day!

It goes without saying that I am thankful for all you wacky peeps who brighten my day on and off line.
But what are your pups thankful for?
Kirk is always thankful for his crew. And currently thankful his ship has a real galley and a fighting chance of real turkey.
Knox is thankful his parents are still with him (his dad had a heart attack offscreen, as briefly noted in his last EP), And he's thankful he can fly back to Gotham and away from said parents.
Cy is thankful for his buds. And for the fact that this year, he gets to cook. No Tamaranian cuisine and no tofurkey.
Charlie is thankful for the friends he has. And not much else. I gotta do something with him.
Gibbs is thankful that he and Jack have the Pearl back. Sort of. And that he's several thousand miles away from the gallows.
And Howard is thankful that the tide in the war seems to be turning slowly and that somehow Col. Philips requisitioned a turkey.

I am thankful for having a perfectly adequate life; improvements could and indeed should be made (moving out of my parent's house, for instance), but I am generally happy, my parents are supportive above and beyond the call of duty, and I have a job I enjoy in a very casual office with a puppy. I am thankful for the Internet and that geek is the new cool. And, of course, I am thankful for you lot, and for good fiction in all its forms.

Ult. Ben is thankful for being human shaped and yet still powered, still being friends with Sue and Johnny and his mother.
I am thankful for all my writing friends (here and other places) and the chance to do daily entertainments even when I don't have time to do actual role playing.

Mia is thankful for me finding an article saying caffeine is no longer completely forbidden from the recommended pregnancy diet. It means she can have real tea instead of herbal tea for the next 30-something weeks.
Lucas is thankful for the bar's minors fund, seeing as he didn't know what money was until he came to Milliways. Now that he's actually making it, he'll be glad to pay for what he can and pay into that fund. The nice thing about being in a video game is kids running around with unreasonably large amounts of money.
Shinigami is thankful for all the students that come to DWMA. Human dedication is something that never ceases to be inspiring. He's also thankful for (spoilers for people who haven't read the manga/reading the official translation and haven't caught up to fan translations) Kid's safe return from his kidnapping by Noah. Hoo boy do we wish that lasted.

Balthazar is thankful he's finally found the Prime Merlinian. He is not thankful about Dave's skills with plasma bolts.
Bones is thankful no one is currently in the ship's morgue, and only a couple are in sickbay, and nothing is serious.
Katya is thankful the Bar makes good pelmeni. She is rather cranky about other things.
Romana is thankful that this year she has managed to keep track of her husband. She is also thankful she remembered to not mention the Thanksgiving traditions of New New York to Ray's sister.
Shaz is thankful...............

At this moment in canon, no she isn't. At all.
Glorfindel is thankful that the twins have decided to spend some time in Gondor, where it isn't completely frigid.

Dixie is thankful for late stages, midnight bottles of wine, her instincts, and her voice.
Juliet is thankful for coffee, her cats, her limitless patience, her ability to shoot once and then ask if the perp wants coffee later, and Shawn. Sometimes.
