Emergency backup DE,

once again courtesy of [livejournal.com profile] boston_bruiser's mun: summarize your canon in five words. Or your character. Either one.

Courtesy of Sam Tyler, Gene Hunt in five words - 'overweight, over-the-hill, nicotine-stained, borderline-alcoholic homophobe'.

Alex has also had a go - difficult, stubborn, obnoxious, misogynistic and reckless human being'.

He is just fine with both descriptions.

As for canon itself - I'll go for Ode to Old-fashioned policing. Which isn't entirely accurate, but it's sort of what it became.

I thought it'd be more "ode to classic police tv."

[identity profile] fightingthecage.livejournal.com 2011-12-08 03:11 pm (UTC)(link)
That too! Though, at least in fandom (and some parts of the media), there seemed to be a lot of, 'wish things were still that way!' It also uncovered a fair few complaints that modern day police officers have about their job, complaints that got raised politicallly.

There were, of course, just as many cries of, 'glad things have moved on now'. Which is a good thing too.

Hm. Annabelle's canon is the Adventure! part of White Wolf's Trinity Universe (TU). It's very much a pulp adventure type setting.

An Indiana Jones Trilogy RPG

Death-rays? Dinosaurs? We've got 'em!

The TU before the DOOM!
