It could be worse! I got clipped on my scooter and when I landed the ligaments in my neck kept my head from popping off, so now I have to wear a stiff collar while they rest and recover from that. And there is some broken bone stuff with the top two vertebrae and my skull and one of my ribs, but those will just take some time, too. I have another week in this damn thing and another week off from work.
And I need new glasses, my most recent pair were blasted out of existence, and I am wearing my next-oldest pair, which are aaaaancient.
I'm in the midst of lots of things at the moment. Various gift fics, other fics and Yuletide so this week I haven't finished that many things. Also a couple of plots and slowtimes I'm in are fascinating and ones nearing a wrap.
William met Alcide and has yet to figure out so are you a supernatural shapeshifter?
I made opera cake! I also won Dinner for Schmucks, popcorn, and candies from a game of Dirty Santa at the work Christmas party. I also got to play Bananagrams last night, which is always fun.
I'm mostly recovered from sick and did little bits of RPG here and there. The big news though is that my secret Val von Doom plot is going live next week!
ALL PRAISE to the SPN co-canon conspirators, who are and remain AMAZING, and especially here to Georgia, Joan, and Lynne, who together also did the work of planning and coordinating this. :)
And secondly, while the above were being threaded, Phoenix and I abruptly discovered that we had left a thread between Mac and Sam sketched out but unfinished - a thread that turned out to be pretty important to them, at that.
Oops.
Therefore, I also present an unexpected but now-completed slowtime!
And I think that's quite enough RP accomplishment for one week.

I wrote a book.
(OK, it was a 16 page picture book and I didn't do any pictures. But! I wrote a book!)

William gets to go flying in a robotic lion.
Sameth and Meg Ford caught up and Sameth is still bad at explaining his world.
Tumnus and Varric made me laugh though they're really not speaking the same language.
Albus and William who always make me smile.
And as is becoming my norm, Charles Xavier is still quite loud over in Mixed Muses.

I had been ill, and somehow, it had never come together. But last night, it finally did!
Complete with Leo geeking out at the Window.

* In which reunions are supposed to be happy occasions, but...
* In which an unpleasant order is given.
* In which some of hell's denizens are found to be full of surprises.
* In which a last night on earth is spent.
* In which an important question arises: what's the inverse of Falling?
* In which confession is not, in fact, good for the soul.

ETA: And I finished rereading Villains by Necessity, so I should be able to get the SHENANIGANS ball rolling soon, hopefully. :D :D :D
