Sorry I've missed the past couple of days, guys - this is my last day of work in the office for 2011, so I've been running around a lot.

To that end - Anyone have any exciting vacation plans and the like? I have exciting rollerskating adventures this weekend. :D

I'm going to my parents' on Christmas Eve and staying over for the holiday. No other big vacation plans except that on New Year's Eve, if I can get my bike into Manhattan, I'm gonna join in on a 10 pm to midnight bike ride through the non-Times-Square streets of Manhattan.

Being home is my vacation. :D

So, it'll be family things, seeing everyone I need to see, hanging out with my bff, and getting all my reading on. I bought a stack of books this holiday season and plan to get through as many of them as I can. WOO.

After finishing Yuletide, that is.

No exciting trips or anything like that. Family is coming to us this season. I intend to personally read a lot, RP quite a bit and sit down and watch some shows.

Also there will be trips to what is now my nearest library to get a feel for what they have in the local collection and expeditions to find the nearest branch of my bank.

I'm at my parents' place in Delaware and that's my off time and at this point, I don't have any more plans other than relaxing.

Heading home to Vermont this evening! I have my youngest brother in tow, which is fun; he's the sibling I get along with best, and he'll be delighted if I make him do half the driving.

My Christmas weekend plans: have a horseback riding lesson (:D!!!), go to Christmas services with family, eat lots of food, trade lots of presents, and otherwise loll about and sleep and read tons of Yuletide fic. I am looking forward to this enormously.

I'm still trying to decide when I'm leaving for the Bing Family Homestead. I have a rental car tomorrow, or I could go at my leisure on Saturday. I might split the difference between the two.

Either way, I'll be firmly ensconced at Rocker Bing's for the entirety of the weekend. Chances are better than not that there will be a lot of wine, ugly pajamas, and bad television.

I was hoping to do a lot of gaming, but...well, we'll see about that.

As I could've sworn I'd already said somewhere else (besides in chat), my parents and I are driving down to the Baltimore area on Saturday morning, to spend Christmas with my brother and his wife&kids, and coming back to central PA over the course of Tuesday. (If there's a Barnes & Chernobyl gift card in my stocking as I expect, or even if there isn't, I may suggest we stop at the B&N in Frederick on the return trip, to pick up any books I especially wanted but didn't get.) That's about as "exciting" as it gets.
