If you have a custom comment page set up for your journal...

...you'd better go into Journal Settings and set it up again, because as of a few minutes ago it was turned off on EVERY SINGLE JOURNAL THAT HAD IT.

This includes the Bar and the Back Room.

LiveJournal, you have set a new bar for "epic fail."

ETA: CHECK YOUR PAID ACCOUNTS. There are reports in the comments for Release 88 that automatic payments have been enabled on some paid accounts without the account-holder's permission or knowledge.

In the spirit of the season, I'm giving them until I get back from Maryland to stop being [livejournal.com profile] igdicks* about this, but if this shit is not reverted by then... importation will begin, and continue until everyone's moved or free invites stop. (I think I have invite codes available if anyone needs them after the free period ends.)

They are fighting their customers move by move -- we turn on the customised pages to make sure we get a decent layout, they turn off ALL customised pages. We turn off automatic payments in protest to show them that WE ARE THE CUSTOMER -- they turn on automatic payments for ALL.

That is not the way to react to customer complaints.-
