the forge
Okay! So as of this thread Teja has allowed Karkat to set up an alchimeter assembly in a new room added onto the forge. So for anyone who might be passing by or dropping in, the forge has gotten a little bigger. It looks like an exact copy of the forge that already exists, plopped down behind it facing the other way, with a connecting door in the back corner.
The interior looks the same in structure and materials, but has been decorated more extensively by Kanaya, with recessed lighting, crown moldings, fabric wall hangings and a multicultural mural. It has a huge white machine like a big flat table in the middle of it.
If characters want to learn about/use the alchimeter (or more relevantly, muns would like them to get access to it to create stuff) Karkat is approachable on the subject, with the usual caveats. I have written up a quick basic primer on Homestuck alchemy.
I will try to do EPs of Karkat puttering around in there, from time to time.
