I have started using Wii Fit (which reports me as carrying 9 extra years), and have created a Dreamwidth account for the strawberry in my icon (so he and Rukia can do OOMs together at some point very soon). Yay?

I wrote up a post on my librarian blog yesterday about SOPA and PIPA which felt like a step forward in librarian stuff. I need to do more in terms of finding a job, but that's something.

I'm trying not to piss off the recruiter completely, as she might have other openings, but me at Siemens? Will not happen.

I want a new job, but not as desperately as to work for the Evil Empire.

Siemens is evil? As I have been involved with the more physical of the physical sciences I know the name and the company somewhat, but as someone who lives in the United States I don't know what evil schemes Siemens is involved in.

You know about the corruption scandals? How they sold part of their employees to Taiwanese company BenQ who promptly closed everything down? The control systems in the Iranian nuclear plants that were affected by Stuxnet?

All that is Siemens.

My ethics aren't especially deep-rooted, but Siemens is too evil even for me.

Thanks to oxfordtweed I realize that I have to probably reconfigure my Urban Fantasy's History of the United States and Western World in General because of a thread we did in M_M involving a Sherlock Holmes who got adopted apparently by a Native American tribe and one of my urban fantasy's main characters.
