I did a quick canon OOM for Claudia (it occurs to me that at this pace, I'll possibly get to the short end of the Saga of Todd right around Valentine's Day. That's mean!), and then I set her loose in the bar examining a Tesla. Because why not?
Elsesite, I found out that DW has its own dear_mun, and posted a little something - after which Rebecca woke up something fierce, so she's been hanging abouta bit. (As of yet not much else has come of the dear_mun post, but hey, life happens, I'm still hopeful. BECAUSE THAT WOULD BE THE GREATEST.)
I did... some stuff! Which I gotta keep hidden up my sleeve for now. BUT IT'S AWESOME.
I also braved the terrifying world of Chrome extensions, and frankensteined together a sort of (expanded, Dreamwidth-compatible) bastard LJ Hook, and a thingamajig for filtering LJ and DW journals by multiple tags or by poster (also with bookmarklets for Firefox!).
This week has been full of fascinating and unexpected threads that made me smile along with trying out various things before the move.
Will and Marian talked on her fifth Milliversary which prompted an EP for him and some interesting tagging out to John Mccabe. William and Demeter have also been busy but playing Will in Bar added so much to my week.
I have been tasked with making strawberry shortcake scones. How I do it has pretty much been left up to me. I've got a great concept and I'm working on execution right now.
ETA: My sister's reaction to my strawberry scones is wanting to commit incest by marrying me. My argument that I'm already related to her and sharing an apartment with her was met with, "That's not enough!" I'm both flattered and creeped out by the heart-swaying power of my scones. o.o
I made the best orange and chocolate chip cupcakes which came in dead handy when I went to see the filming of the last episode of the next series of Red Dwarf.
OH AND I SAW RED DWARF IT WAS AMAZEFACE OMG. But the best part about that one was calling up a really old uni friend and bringing him with me.
I FINISHED REREADING KAIT'S CANON. \O/ it was...worse than I remembered, but now I can plot OOMs and EPs and how to put my character back together again.
Just before Work reared it's ugly jealous self, I EP'd my newest pup Mars for some fun (http://milliways-bar.livejournal.com/24411917.html). I really like him and hope to get back to tags tomorrow.
Marian had her 5th Milliversay! Then I watched her entire canon! And she is now in the means of an incredibly huge plot, that may take the entire rest of the 2012.
In RL, law school. Always law school. Lots and lots of law school. It never stops, you see. Contracts. Property. And the workload in my legal writing class has gone up about 1000 percent from last semester to this one.
I've been much busier on this place than I was anticipating. To be honest, I've probably been much busier on this place than I should be.
Jim didn't really do all that much - just one thread by my count - but that's largely because I was busy introducing two new pups. Borgel's EP didn't quite seem to catch fire, but McCabe's sparked a couple of very interesting threads, most notably with Will. One of the threads is still slowtiming.
It wasn't a total loss for Borgel, though. Earlier this week I finished up what I think might be my finest hour of RPing thus far with Borgel and Charles. It's one of those rare instances where I feel like I just NAILED the headvoice. But more than that, Borgel is just fun to play. I should tag with him more often.
Work continues to be the majority of my existence! All compliance all the time makes Crys a pretty dull girl, these days. (I did have a sit-down with my bossladies re: my annual performance evaluation, and they had nothing but glowing words for me, though. So, really, life could be much worse.)
As far as RP is concerned, I snagged a bartending shift for Ben Wade for the first time in what feels like years. Honestly, all I can say is thank you to everyone who tagged in! Y'all are rock stars; I am having a ball and a half with these threads.

He moved into my head with the same sort of suddenness and force Teja or Urquhart did, back when.

Over in sandboxes, I've been trying out a little Charles and a moved forward in time Sameth. The thread that created Sam and is wonderful and breaks my heart is Sam and post-canon Kait.
A little Charles thread that I'm loving is with Tom Riddle. I've missed threading with Viv and this is a great thread.
In RL stuff, I have a list of jobs to apply for and am working on various prompts and fics.
