The Niſe and Accurate ReOrganiſation of Milliways Bar: Ye Saga Continueſ

For a while now, thanks to the effort of Sarah Connor's mun, Milliways has had a room list. But! Many characters have since moved on, many new ones have since arrived and taken up residence, etc. etc. In the spirit of making sure everything's ship-shape and Bristol fashion for the Dreamwidth move, it's time for an update.

If your character has a room at Milliways, please comment here with their room number (or... symbol, or whatever).

Once we move, I'll post the new list in the back room and link to it from the

milliways_bar profile.

I am fine with them being assigned random room numbers once the new list exists!

Mal is in the same scenario, and Sallie has an apartment in the Staff Wing.

Since Sarah isn't leaving M'ways any time soon and I've already moved her journal to dreamwidth. So I plan to continue to keep track of the room list. If you want I can give you the post in her journal on dreamwidth if that would help. And whoever doesn't have a room I can remove them from the list.

Hiya! Glad to see you're still around; the room list hadn't had an update in a while, so I wasn't sure. Thanks for all your hard work on it, over the years.

Given that so many characters have moved on over the years, I thought it might be nice to compile a fresh list before the move - and so the now-unoccupied rooms can be listed as such, in case people want to snag some of the more interesting-sounding ones. However, I also think that because it's a resource used by the rest of the game, it would be a good idea to have the new version posted by

milliways_mods on Dreamwidth; that way, it's not dependent on any one person for updates. Or, to put it another way: if I post the new list and then get hit by a bus, because the other mods have the password to

milliways_mods, they can still log in and update it from time to time, in-between avenging my death.

Does that make sense?

William has a room but not a number for it and all the rest don't have permanent rooms.

This only applies to one of mine -- Kate Warner (

justdidntseeit) is in Room 2002. (She shares the space with Boo [

i_scare_monstrs], and if Lai [

lai_lore] has no objections, I'm happy to keep it listed as-is!)

Karkat is in room 869, Kanaya is in room 805, and Nepeta has room 833, although she doesn't use it anywhere as often as her cave up in the mountain.

Ramon Salazar and Random of Amber still keep room 19.

The Blank Black Door that belongs to Satan can go, as he's retired. Same for Justin Taylor's room with the Disco Lights in the staff quarters.

And Michael Westen's room - #15 - I vaaaaaguely remember claiming that for him when he was my pup. I think. He's been re-append by someone else though, I believe, so they might have done it and I'm just blanking? So ...idk, if the new mun wants to keep it, they can?

Also, I'd like to claim a room with a silver stag on the door for Harry Potter, please. Poor lad's been here long enough, he deserves to cop a squat.

Otherwise, the others aren't being played anymore/retired and their rooms can be let go.

And I'd actually like to give Hermione's old room up (88) and give her Fat Charlie Nancy's old room (308) instead.

I thiiiink that covers everyone I've played. Man, some of these pups I haven't given thought to in ages.

Alyx and Gordon share room 287. Alyx also continues to rent out the adjacent room, 288, in case she needs some extra space for whatever reason. None of my other active pups have a rental room at the moment.

The only one of my pups that needs to keep a room is the Doctor. (Not that he stays there -- it's growing a TARDIS for Jenny.) It's marked with the Greek letters Sigma Theta.

Clementine's at room #35 - and a Steely Dan beer coaster is used as a door knocker for it.

(Note to self: pick up a room for Dix)

Even though she lives in Arch, working there, I'm pretty sure we've never canonically closed this room.

Teja still has room no. 552; Urquhart has a room, but he's never needed a number.

I'd like to keep room 203 for Amy, please.

Tyler's going room #238, and another secret lair attached to it.

Nikola's room is still 3327.

It's been decided between Jenna and I that Jack and Lorne's cabin is going to be cut off from the Bar in the move, so while they'll still be hanging out there being cute and domesticy, it won't be attached to the bar any longer. It could stay on the list, I suppose, but I'm not adamant on that.

Hokay. Cata has a room that Sam sometimes puts to use as well, Claudia still has one now that she's been Bound, and Apollo... probably has one for the hell of it. And it looks like Moist has one as well, though I'm not sure what I'm doing with him as of yet. (I'm including him for now, just in case.)

Carl's not coming for the move; nor are Cosmo (though I can't remember if I ever gave him a specific room number) or Angel. Oooooor, if they ever had rooms, Jane Lane or Larry Daley. (If Imp had a room, that can be scrapped; I'll be re-apping him but will pick a new one if necessary.)

Doc Scurlock still has room #25.

I had asked for Carl Benton to have #160, but it was never added/updated, and would still like that for him.

I'll figure out the others once we move.

Amascut will still have #60. Why, I have no idea other than she likes having a private bathroom. I haven't really done much in the way of Millicanon about her room. Just that it is pretty bare. But it has an actual door and not just a curtain like most of her haunts! It has her headache inducing name scratched in it.

I know I said I wasn't bringing Evil Chicken over, but I feel sorry for the poor thing. He has no safe place to call home, so I would like to keep his nest at the end of the universe. He will be keeping room #2,147,483,647.
