cleanup post, the 'things that go neigh' edition

Hello, Milliwaysers!

It has been quite some time since I've done this, and I do apologize for being lax on keeping things up to date - but with the move to Dreamwidth, I am going to get the list cleaned up and situated in fine form so that we'll be ready when the game shifts to our new home.

Back in '09, I had started a new, clean stockline record in Doc's journal, after asking for help cleaning things up this post here.

I would ask that people please reply to THIS POST here in the backroom, if you have any of the following that apply to you:

- A character that has a horse/brahamin/unicorn/thestral/etc in the stables that WILL BE MOVING TO DW.
- A character that had a creature of some sort that has since been retired/deleted, that needs to have their creature removed from the list.
- A new addition to the record that I need to add.
- Any other input that will help me to reorganize the list.

Valentine Wiggin had Solon; I can't remember who had Melina, but I think that character is also long since retired/otherwise gone. But I can't speak to that.

Val will not be making the move, so I think it's safe to say Solon can be removed from the list. I'll check properly with Quin tomorrow and get back to you.

ETA: Quin says she doesn't mind Solon wandering off to greener pastures, in a 'he was here, he's gone now' sense. Melina was Helen of Troy's, so we'll see if her mun comes back with any input.

Ellen will be moving Shiphrah and Puah the riding Brahmin to DW.

Billy is totes making the move, along with his horse, which I see... I never updated with a name and all *facepalms*

Billy has the tan horse with a black mane that he stole in the end of the second movie, and has named it Lawman.

Hee, it's okay! That's what the clean up is for - gonna get it all situated before we move. I'll make sure Lawman is added properly.

I've been keeping the stockline record up-to-date and organized for Kate's use, including current employees and new additions to the stables (last updated: January 26th, 2012).

A copy is in Kate's journal. I can also send you one if you so choose. It should be basically whole, as I do a check once every month or so.

Teja only has one horse now, Bramble, the brown with the spotty rump, as he's given the spotted grey, Orion, to Carlotta when she started her own circus, so he only needs one stall now.-

His cats are now four, and still prowl the stables, keeping them as mice-free as they can.

All of these creatures will be coming to DW with him.

I'm preeeety sure the 'unnamed white stallion' became Ramon's? Bloody hell, it's been so long I barely remember. But I think he acquired him after telling Doc he wanted a horse with some attitude, then named him Blanco.

...wow, I should really remember better. Does that ring bells with you? In any case, he has a white stallion, called Blanco, and yep, I'd like him brought to DW, please. :)

In a hilarious turn of fate, as was realized with Caspian's mun recently, Marian's horse somehow never ended up on any of the lists. Ever. And Marian and he are both definitely moving to DW. Thus! For your Stockline records, under Stallions:

Un-Named (Brought in by Lady Marian. Gifted to Robin. Re-appropriated by Lady Marian for herself & Milliways)

Thoroughbred, full-grown, Destrier. 15 hands. Frequently a little willful, feisty, and restlessly argumentative, especially with both unknown riders and trainers. Can be lulled, marginally, with apples.

Was stabled, not far from Kiseki, in February/March 2007. Trained by Lady Marian, and Caspian X. Has a sign placed on his stall that reads, For use by experienced riders only.

Curious question: Can we get a new list of who all works in the stables, for Stable_Ways, too?

Also, by any chance do we know what color the stallion is? It isn't totally needed but I'd figure I'd throw the detail in if you had it.

I think it was settled he's a very dark brown almost verging toward black.

I know that William sometimes keeps his horse Les in the stables along with working there himself.

Though I feel rather stupid in that I don't know too many details of said horse other than that he's brown. I'll try and see if I can find out more and sorry for the sparse details.

That's ok! I am assuming that Les is a gelding, brown, and pretty well broke to ride and also work cattle. Any other details would be fine whenever.

I figure he's also if not totally used to guns able to handle the noise.
