1. Yes, that's a floaty Sims crystal over the bartop.
2. If you touch it, it will be like a hologram - your hand/weapon/thrown food will go through it.
3. It will stay green until Sallie posts a different picture. :D

Several characters have already recognized it as the Sims, so go for it. And yes, it will change.
