What ho, old chaps!

Being as the weekend is over - that blessed oasis of calm whence we must once more lower our noses to the grindstone of the working week - I was perusing the old cast list (or, that is to say the new cast list, 'old' in this case being as who should say a term of endearment), when I noticed a deuced curious thing. Why, a number of you lot had gone and submitted your characters without some of their bally information!

Why, those poor souls, I thought to myself, quite overcome. All caught up in the tizzy of moving, confounded by perpetual waves of instructions to do this, do that, do the other - no wonder such trifling details slipped their minds. I had best let them know!

That being so, here are the current stars in what I like to call 'The Curious Case of the Missing Cast List Information' (pretty good, don't you think, eh? O, what a wit I am!):

Further, if you had the misfortune to feature in Round 1 of the 'Name & Shame' Game, I rather think you ought to go and take a gander at the cast list. If you resubmitted correctly, your character should now be listed (that, of course, being the logical order of things), and counterwise or that is to say verso, if your character is still not on the new cast list, then you did not resubmit correctly, and I am terribly sorry to say that you shall have to do it again.

I have gone back and tried to redo it several times and keep getting an unspecified error.

the username is the same for both LJ and DW. Is there any way I can get a mod to fix this, or get some insight as to why I can't get it to work?

What is the error message you are getting?

I put in all of the info and it just says, "Error. Please try again." I went through it repeatedly, even changing up the email in case it was one I used before. Nada.

I added him using the info here and he went through fine. He should be under 'Marvel Universe' now.

I haven't been able to find any of my characters on the cast list. I know I entered their names into the form and everything. Is there a line? Or do I need to join up to the DW Milliways first?

No, you don't need to join the DW comm first. Did you get an error message when submitting? Are any of your characters listed in this post or the last post? If yes, their first entry was rejected for being incomplete; have you re-submitted with the correct information?

I just added Vext with no problem. Please try again with your other characters, and if possible take a screenshot of the filled in form before submitting, and of the screen you get after you click 'Add your character'.

Quick dumb question. The email it asks for, you want our email, right?

No. As it says in the instructions that are on the form, right below the email field:

The script requires a unique email address for each entry. Please use a variation on:
• characterjournalname@milliways.bar
• charactername@milliways.bar

Each entry must be submitted with a unique email address.

You cannot use the same email address to join the cast list more than once.

So, if you keep submitting entries with your own email address, they will not work.

So, please use characterjournalname@milliways.bar, charactername@milliways.bar, or some variation thereupon.

Hello there. Um... I wasn't sure where to put this so I just picked the most recent mod post.

I was joining the new communities on DW and noticed that clicking on 'info' in the Backroom leads to the Milliways info page instead.

I didn't know if that was an on purpose thing, so thought I'd point it out in case it wasn't.
