Mardi Gras coming up

So, on Tuesday, in the middle of all that Allpocalypse chaos, Mardi Gras is coming up as well. It's always been one of the traditional Miliways holidays, ever since the very first year in pre-Katrina New Orleans, in a house the AR vampires had there...

Anyway, I just remembered, and am wondering how we can combine Mardi Gras and the end of the world as we know it in the most fun way? Ideas?

ETA: Everybody said 'party like there's no tomorrow', so I think I shall use Sirona for it. She's from an area of Europe where Mardi Gras is taken quite seriously, deeply ingrained in the culture, so I'll send her on the Monday (the height of the carnival season, with all the big parades) in wearing this traditional outfit, and she'll find a way to start the tab-free feast when she realises the place is seriously doomed. Then, she leaves, never to return -- which will give an IC explanation for retiring her with the move -- if she ever returned, that enormous tab would immediately land on her. Moved up here from in the comments, so everybody can see right away what the plan is.

That was a thing the beta testers thought was a good idea, so they took it out of the release.

And even if they hadn't taken it out, it would probably only work on the default comment pages.

Well, Mardi Gras is really all about a last big blowout before a long period of austerity or suffering. It's a natural fit. Maybe with the bar malfunctioning as it has been, someone with related powers can cut lose an enormous, consequence-and-tab-free feast to last until the move?

Heh, well it would be in the tradition of Mardi Gras and New Orleans where they party as the bad weather rolls through. Someone like Tower should run a happy hour with sparkles and boom and all the liquor.

Milliways should party like there's no tomorrow! Because... who knows if there will be? And if we don't, then all the bar's alcohol would just be wasted!
