Sharp and pointy things!

As Sophie reminded me, there are all sorts of sharp and pointy things in the forge that pups can borrow to fight the invading monsters. Teja has been making and experimenting with lots of weapons, so whatever you need that has a blade, point, or edge, it is most likely there. Much of what he makes is either early medieval -- swords, battle-axes, throwing-axes, arrows, daggers, Roman short swords, sahsis -- but he has learned a lot from various Japanese affiliated pups, so there will Japanese style weapons as well -- katana, naginata, throwing stars, kama sickles etc. -- and most of his occidental weapons are made of Japanese style folded steel.

Pcik whatever you want for your pup -- Teja will be proud if that sizeable arsenal he amassed over time is used to defend Milliways!

Yes, bronze and silver folded together, with silver coating, is what Teja makes his anti-werewolf weapons from. So it's most likely that.-

Huh! He is not around for all this stuff, but I wonder in general if Karkat could use that under sicklekind.

He might, if he is familiar enough with sickles to know their rotational mechanics in and out. It's more of a flail-kind (if that is a thing) weapon as it is used in game. The backstory behind its poor design is that it was purposely made to be unpredictable because if was meant for use againt psychic vampires who have a habit of predicting and dodging attacks.

Of course, that wouldn't prevent a more practical minded person from using it as a sickle which just so happens to be attached to a very long beating stick instead of a flail that happens to have a sickle on the free swinging end. So instead of sickle on a stick, it can be used as a stick on a sickle. :D

Oh, the sickles on sticks (or sticks on sickles, if Karkat chooses to use them that way) will still be around after the move, even though [personal profile] fowl_beast won't be playing. Technically, he'll be making the move, or at least his room/treasure hoard upstairs will.

We just have to make up a reason why Karkat didn't notice the shiny things when he made his addition to the forge. I dunno, maybe the move can shake things loose in the forge and they can wind up where Karkat can find them.
