Okay. One more time, guys.
On a related note, many of you may have missed the fact that, tucked away in the user info, there has been a slight tweak to the game rules! That tweak is this:
4. In fact, let's make that a rule. Read the FAQ. You should also follow the OOC comm,
ways_back_room, or track the 'mod post' tag to keep up with important announcements.
- Milliways does not have a reserve-then-app system.
- You cannot reserve a character in order to app them.
- You cannot reserve a character already in the game.
- Reserving a character is not the same as retiring them.
- This is what reserving a character means.
- Stop adding characters you are apping to the cast list as '[RESERVED]'.
- I mean it.
- Don't make me turn this car around.

Reserved characters are often available simply on the condition that interested players talk to those who reserved the character first - usually players from the same canon who, for example, would prefer to be given a heads-up if someone is going to app their character's sibling/the main villain/etc.
This should be assumed to be the case for all reserved characters until one enquires and is told otherwise.
