I love all the new characters appearing and old ones reappearing. I know I've spent the past few nights wishing I could command more brainpower to tag everything. Let's make this a DE about plots and plans.

Currently on the docket are a) throw River at people, as per usual, and b) put Clare in more! I have a half-written OOM for Clare I need to finish up, and then I'll put her back in. I'm not trying to play through canon in a detailed way that prevents me from glossing over things when I feel like it, but I do want to advance her and to fic out some of the fun stuff. This weekend, I'm hoping to sit down with canon to finish things up.
And then I can have her stare in mutual bafflement at people! (So many people I want to throw Clare at, omg.) And eventually, when she's in the right parts of canon, even meet the other Claymores around! WHICH WILL BE TONS AND TONS OF FUN but can't happen for a while yet.
Regan and Uzura are also still around, but are more occasional characters. Still, they're on my radar.

Options are a) it comes up in conversation (workable, given how 'Dite usually converses, although with River one never knows how a conversation is actually going to go), and/or b) creative use of Millitime means 'Dite sees at least part of this River-Duo thread to fingersteeple over the body language, even if it does teeeeechnically take place the day before her EP. Teresa is actually meeting and talking to people and learning that sometimes it's nice to protect people for free.

My one worry from Clare's end, in terms of canon stuff, is not having her figure out how exactly her powers thing works before she canonically does. Which... I don't even know if it would come up, but I don't know that it won't, you know?
If Teresa is getting close to ready, though, I will a) read through canon to double-check exactly when I can let her learn that, and b) try to advance Clare through faster, if I can, because omg Claymore threads. >:D We can talk!

And I won't rush, but all the same it's both nice and useful to have real impetus to get through the early part of canon without too much dawdling. Teresa-Clare is a carrot for myself! Possibly a carrot with limb loss, but that's just how Claymore rolls.
