Celebrate a truly blessed ten year anniversary today. Then, there's my Mother's Birthday. Tomorrow will have a Pagan Farmers Market followed by Teas with Scones and Craftique shopping. Somewhere in there I'll start planning/scheduling for my surprise RCG thing I will likely announce in my journal tonight.
There will likely be book reading, and silly giddy things with Earl, and looking into paying for another one or two airline fares for the endless barrage of trips this year has taken into it.
Technically, I've already been on my weekend. Which is more like a week because I have a funny schedule. Anywho. Today? I'm off to the beach! Possibly a seafood festival, if the traffic is not crazy. And shopping. Yeeeah.
Sadly, because Batya is still in her year of mourning, she won't be coming. Gonna be weird to be at a con without her.
But I am so utterly looking forward to this. There will be people there I haven't seen in months, and I haven't been at a full weekend of con in close to two years. I've really missed it.
Gonna be staying close to home, possibly staying with mom's boyfriend a few days as she is in ICU. Wishing I could go to the pub that sells good irish corned beef and cabbage dinners (but doesn't know what Champ is. this is sadness) and moonshine.
Two days of Andrew Bird. And entertaining my bloggy partner in crime, who is coming down for two days of Andrew Bird. And, uh, finishing that paper somewhere in there.
I'm going to NYC! I'm actually already in transit -- I took today off, and I'm so glad I did. This week started being a long one round about Monday, and this whole semester's been kind of a marathon anyway. But TL will be in town, so I'm visiting with Becca and Debi and Ana-Thomas and her, and then dragging TL back to Boston with me for a couple of days.
Also there's probably going to be RP. :D Next week is spring break, so I'm freed up from homework for a few days, and this feels like SUCH A LUXURY.
Let's see, today I'm working Job 1, and then tonight I'm going in early to Job 4. Then tomorrow I'm speed cleaning the house because we're having a St. Patty's gathering with Corned Beef and everything! Sunday I'll be at Job 3/Volunteer Opportunity 1.
work, work, more work, new Once Upon a Time, hopefully write something, clean Mom's former coworker's house (there's a hundred bucks in it for me), finally have a day off on Tuesday.
Incidentally, is anyone else having issues with Gmail eating replies? It seems one in five of my emails is actually getting where it's supposed to go.
Today: try to get out of a thing with Dad I really don't want to do, while at the same time actually spending good time with him. Derp.
Tomorrow: some singing
Sunday: ...Who knows.
And in all this is try to actually get some work done (which hasn't been going well), try to keep up with RP (ditto), try to not be sick (also ditto), and preferably schedule a doctor's appointment to deal with the aforementioned sick.
Tomorrow I take my mum to see Sweeney Todd starring Michael Ball and Imelda Staunton for Mothering Sunday...because she's loves the gore and the musicals.
Sunday is all Mass and choir practice.
What I would quite like to do is sleep all weekend though.
Oi. Report to write for my US History course, looking forward to distracting myself from it by hanging with my kids and tagging some threads. :)
Definitely bringing Michael out some more and I'm determined to get Gus back in the bar soon, poor guy needs to work on standing on his own without Shawn.

Also, I plan on taking a walk after work today. I'm currently 52 miles into the Eowyn Challenge of walking from Bag End to Rivendell. ^_^
Currently, though, I'm worn out because I just started a new medication for my fibromyalgia, and it really makes me sleepy.

I feel like someone slipped an extra day into my week when I wasn't looking.

Uh.
It probably won't happen but I do want to play at least a bit if anyone's game. :D? (Also answering slowtimes.)
Also ... work for Monday's crit. And I have a group assignment to get to on Sunday. And I should probably vacuum my place.
Today I plan to go downtown for a little bit.
