About [RESERVED]...
Hi, folks.
I'm going over the month's apps and can't help but notice a whole bunch of people seem to have put characters on the cast list with [RESERVED] status, but then gone ahead and joined themilliways_bar community anyway. I'm not entirely sure how many of these are supposed to be 'I'd like to retire this pup, please' cases and how many are 'I thought I was supposed to put this character on reserve in order to get them back'.
If you submitted a [RESERVED] character and want them to be retired-retired, let me know.
If you just submitted them to the cast list with [RESERVED] on in order to, you know, keep them from being brought in without the would-be mun talking to the existing players in that fandom first, let me know so I can clean that up too. Just putting these characters on reserve doesn't require you to join the community with them.
If you submitted them with [RESERVED] because you thought that was how you prevented other people from apping the pup before you could app them... Milliways doesn't do that. Our reservations are for the sake of keeping existing players from going insane. Applications are strictly first come, first served, so if you want to app a character you should talk to the existing muns in that fandom first and then make sure you're ready to get your foot in the door as soon as the app period opens. Reserving a pup to keep other applicants away doesn't happen here.
