Batya's characters have always been some of my favorite reads.

Her Simon breaks my heart constantly, even when things are going right for him, because he is just that damn perfect.

And, way back when I was first getting the hang of this whole Milliways thing, I brought in a Gargoyle named Goliath, and I do believe her squee was the first I'd ever received, and those threads with Andrew Wells were the ones that settled me down and made me realize that this was an awesome place full of awesome people, and I wanted to set up camp here and stay awhile.
