I've two ideas...
First, one of the great traditions of Marvel comics is the What If?; which basically is to add a slight twist to an existing story or origin to make it into a different story all together. Your challenge is to come up with your own or tag in with a pup and we'll do it for you.

Second, I know I have a couple of pups who'd likely do this t-minus thing but I can't for the life of me think of user names for them and I can't be the only one right? Tag in with a pup and get suggestions for t-minus user names.

Oh I got one touching on this, what if Hades had approached Demeter for permission to marry Persephone as he had Zeus (in some telling of the myth at least).

It would be trickier but it all depends on how its done. As long as Persephone plays a role as mediator, a peaceful ending is possible, if not, all the options are bad.
