Out-of-Bar Plot post? Maybe?

Hi there! Just wanted to run this by folks- if anyone is interested, I've got a couple of possible plots lined up in Ellen's world that could do with people from Milliways getting involved. Basic information on them is here, if you want a look- give me a ping if you want more info.

Thanks!

Sariel might be interested/of use in the RobCo resurrection one, but the signal one is the sort of thing she'd absolutely get involved in, for more reasons than just a familiarity with spacefaring vessels. If she has the chance to help other experimentees, human or otherwise, she'll take it.

Oh dear. She needs to meet Ellen yet, doesn't she? Oopsie. Still. Interested!

Once my meeting early this afternoon is over with, I'll be pretty well free, so tagging an Ellen EP it is. :)

Alyx is going to be busy taking care of her kids in the immediate future, but if Ellen wants to borrow D0G at any time, she can.

Carl could use to get out. I'm thinking he might be best suited for either The Armory quest or Evergreen Mills.

Was The Signal the one we talked vaguely about using Diana for? I feel like it was, based on space pirate adventure-times, but I am no longer 100% sure.

I need to take longer looks after work, but X or Diana are likely to work for a few of those. (Or Dean, but I dunno if Aspen would kill me.)

You know, depending on where interest is heaviest, etc. Thing. Pie?

I am definitely interested in that one. So very definitely.

I would love to throw Dinah into whatever Diana is doing, because I think they need a chance to be awesome together.

She feels good!

Um - she'd feel better if the thawing process results in live humans, but that depends on the the laws of physics in any given universe.

As per his post, Michael's definitely looking for work.

Feel free to throw anything you've got at him (though I have to admit, mun would love a chance to put some heavy artillery in his hands to chuck at super mutants).

One of the nice things about Michael is his flexibility. Once he gets over the initial shock I'm pretty sure he wouldn't have an issue with any of the scenarios.

Mun-standpoint I'd volunteer him for Super Mutant hunting, Evergreen Mills, or Rock Creek.

Actually... if you'd consider it, Rock Creek running into the Armory would be really fun - and Michael's got enough computer skill to pull of hacking most moderately difficult computers (mentally I put him with a skill of about 50 - erm... yeah, I made a character sheet. *snort* Geekery ahoy - and also realizing what a damn Mary Sue he'd be if he didn't have a Luck and Charisma of 2.)

Sure - hit his post over here telling him you've got a job and where to meet? I'm a stickler for continuity. Hah.

Okay, I'm thinking here... Ellen's probably going to look for one more person to come with them to Rock Creek Caverns when she gets there and goes to open the door to Milliways- I'm pretty sure she'll see enough mirelurk sign to decide they need one more person, which will be Kate Barlow. After they plough through it seems like retreating to the Bar to patch everything up before hitting the Armory would be a good idea, and she can acquire people who wanna go robot shooting from there since they'll have determined that the Armory is in fact crawling with robots. Sound fair?

Sounds good to me! Michael will be happy to see Kate again. :)

Lawton will turn any PG-13 mission into an R. He'd be perfectly happy going along for the shooting-things ride on Armory or Rock Creek, but I keep looking at Tenpenny Tower and thinking "he has a bounty on Ellen's head. Lawton would therefore consider him fair game."

So let me know if you want that to be dealt with in a very inappropriate way.

I'd love to get William or Sameth involved in some of these as they look fun. Sam is always useful against robots or fights and William with some of the raiders one.

I have fond memories of sniping raiders at Evergreen Mills.

I could offer Kara for any of these, really, but the Armory is where she'd feel most at home, for better or worse.

Haha, that's great. I'm doing one more playthrough of New Vegas right now and finally demanded the Mysterious Magnum, so for a while I kept whipping it out (when fights weren't frantic) just to James Bond my killing shots. More trouble than it's worth, but it's tough to put a price on childlike glee.

And that sounds good! She'd love to take down some not!toasters.

Keen. We should probably have them encounter each other first just so there's a reason to pay attention when Ellen comes in from the gates of the Armory and all.

Can do! I'll be around a lot through the weekend and beginning of next week, so I'll just tag whenever I see Ellen next? Or you can tag whenever you see Starbuck. Whatever comes first/at the more convenient time?

He's not technically inna bar yet, but one he is Wolfwood's always up for some trigger-happy good times in a God-forsaken desolation (and I can always bring him in earlier if necessary). Something like the Armory would be right up his alley.

[personal profile] themightyspazz 2012-05-10 06:00 pm (UTC)(link)
Voodoo's up for all of them. If some Outcasts need intimidating or if Tenpenny needs dealing with, he's especially up for it.

[personal profile] knightoflight 2012-05-10 06:05 pm (UTC)(link)
Wing is up for RobCo, but he'd be up for anything else you might want him for. He could really use a little action. Sitting around being nice can be...too nice. :)

I wish we could fit him on board the ship Ellen would be trying to contact in The Signal, but other than a couple of hangars the ship's built more for creatures somewhat smaller than humans. Hrm.

I'm on my phone and not a computer, so I can't spread my enthusiasm in detail -- but wherever you may want Sif, you've definitely got her!

Sam would help out Ellen wherever she needed help, with whatever she wanted. It looks like the Armory is right for him because he really really doesn't mind killing robots, even (especially) sentient ones. He'll do whatever he can for her in any of the plots, though, if she needs his help. He's good that way.

I don't know if Zevran would come in handy with his sword and dagger and pickpocketing skills, but if he would, he owes Ellen a debt of gratitude for introducing him to the bar his first night in and would gladly repay that debt.

[personal profile] camwyn 2012-05-11 07:43 pm (UTC)(link)
I think we can arrange something with the Armory, sure. Once Ellen and Mike Westen get through the mirelurk caverns, anyway. As for Zev, I'll think of something- although now I'm picturing the various assassins and other dangerous types she knows all converging on Tenpenny Towers at once.

... I don't really like Alistair Tenpenny.
ikissdhimbck: (I'll tie you up)

[personal profile] ikissdhimbck 2012-05-11 07:12 pm (UTC)(link)
Kate, being rather fond of Ellen, would be more than happy to help out in any plot where she might be of assistance. Initially I was thinking about Evergreen Mills, but perhaps Rock Creek Caverns would be a better fit. If you need bodies for any of the missions with less volunteers, I'll be there with bells on. Just let me know if and where a cowgirl might fit. ^__^

Evergreen Mills or Rock Creek Caverns, either one. Bear in mind that Rock Creek Caverns is full of giant mutant crabs whereas Evergreen Mills has heavily armed raiders and one of the biggest supermutants in the Wasteland- I can arrange either.
ikissdhimbck: (Colt SAA)

[personal profile] ikissdhimbck 2012-05-11 09:31 pm (UTC)(link)
Kate doesn't scare easy, especially after her trip out to Felix's world. She can deal with a few mutants so long as good old-fashioned bullets can take care of them if they're not likely to leave her be. Naturally, she wants to be a help, not a hindrance.
brutalcareer: A general look at Cato (Default)

[personal profile] brutalcareer 2012-05-14 07:51 pm (UTC)(link)
Is the plot somewhat newbie friendly? I wouldn't mind Cato getting adventurous as due to his lifelong combat and survival training, he'll probably be itching to do something sooner rather than later.

I'll send you an e-mail then as I'm about to head home and won't have laptop or AIM access. Any of the above works though!
