Welcome to this month's Milliways Plotting meme! What's a Plotting Meme? It's a place to gather new plots and interactions for characters you're stalled for ideas with, characters new to bar, or pups you're dying to find rivals, friends, or romantic partners for! It's also a place to toss out ideas for larger plots. Looking to run a season-specific event or mini-plot? Ask here!

Here's how to particpate:

1: Copy and paste the information in one of the text boxes below into a comment; the bottom one if you're looking for a plot for your character or the top if you have a large, bar-wide plot you'd love to get other characters involved in.

For Individual Characters:

2: Give us your character's name, journal address, and a brief description of who they are and what they do - no more than a brief paragraph that summarizes this and their current bar plot.

3: Then tell us what kind of relationship you're looking to cultivate: romance, rivalry, a business partner, etc. Do this for each pup you'd like plot for.

4: After posting your comment, scan the post, see if anyone else's offer cataches your eye, and comment to them! If you've threadded with someone before and want to build on the interaction you've had, tell them so! Details can be worked out in private or they can be worked out on the meme, whichever you prefer.

Information: Red's a werewolf who just found out about that the hard way (by which I mean 'she ate her boyfriend'); between being BFFs with Snow White and her building friendship with Charles Xavier in-bar, she's sloooooowly coming to terms with the fact that maybe she's not a monster.

I Am Looking For:
Girl needs to talk to some more werewolf types, preferably at least one of whom is not full of angst about it. Eventually she's going to screw up the courage to go through a full moon in Milliways, and she'll want some company.

Information:Dinah/Black Canary is a member of the just-over-a-year-old Justice League of America. She's pretty much a Lawful-Good young lady who is just about 21 years old, and who I am continuing to take through "canon" - where canon is according to post-Crisis pre-reboot continuity.

She's about at the time in her life where she is flirting with Green Arrow, but we don't have a GA in bar.

I Am Looking For: Honestly, I'm kind of looking for a romance. Because I love playing romances and if she starts dating Ollie she'll stay with him, and Ollie is kind of a jerk. But that's Dinah's type: older men who are kind of jerks. But on the side of Angels, that's non negotiable.

Though I'm flakey as all hell, so you know, maybe not the best choice if you want RP on demand, but I try! So let's talk!

Information: Mild mannered school teacher, who very shortly will be insanely heart broken again for a while over someone she just met and didn't even date because she married him after they were crowned the opt of the land and had his daughter and then forgot it all because of The Queen's Dark Curse.

I Am Looking For: shenanigans and friendships, any sorts of fun that she can be drug into in the bar for the next month/few months. (Caveat: Because of The Dark Curse, MM and all the denizens of Storybrooke who aren't Emma/Henry/August, cannot leave the bar through someone else's door or bring anyone back with her. Which is even more why I'm putting out the call to get her involved with things and people in-bar!)

Information: Jane has recently had her heart broken in canon as she has discovered she can't marry Tom Lefroy. Later there will be another heart break that will force her to decide to marry someone she doesn't want. Given the chance, she will simply mope and I want her involved.

I Am Looking For: People to try and get her to talk, take her to their worlds, get her involved. She needs friends and adventures.

I Am Looking For: Worlds that need saving where he can go, fights to get into, women for him to flirt with, all sorts of connections, reasons for him to be more active.

OH MAN I WAS WANTING ONE OF THESE

Information: Average teenage boy with a propensity to sleep. Attends the Knight Academy, a military boarding school in his home nation of Skyloft, with his BFF4LYYFYFFFFEFEFFE, Zelda. Is naturally skilled at swordplay, archery, and sleep. And playing the harp, apparently, although he doesn't own one just yet. I'm working on a detailed information post here, which will cover basic info about his franchise (which should help if you have a character who'd be familiar with it, or are just confused by the thousands of Links running around), and info about his attire and mad combat skillz.

I Am Looking For: Frans/mentors! I don't have any plans to take him through canon for at least another two months, but when I do, I'd like for him to have someone to lean on whenever he comes to the bar, 'cause it's gonna be rough (as in "video games never made me cry until I saw this one scene in Skyward Sword" rough).

Link is very friendly and outgoing, so he'd get along with just about anybody. He's curious about other cultures, too, and since he's not much of a talker, he's perfectly okay if your character wants to talk a lot about where they come from.

I'd love for him to meet up with other ~*~warrior children~*~, or any hero whose story also involves music to a great extent (*eyes Greek pantheon*).

I'd also love for him to meet some Actual Elves.

He's gotta learn about this race that everyone assumes he's of! Just keep in mind that if you're a, say, LotR elf: Link is short. Not like Keebler Elf short but definitely below 5'5". So Link talking to these tall elves is probably going to be like Link talking to a skyscraper or Ghirahim.

Would also love for him to be involved in multiversal shenanigans, whether just to visit other worlds (he would love to raid them for loot explore them!), or for Action Plots, as I'd love to see other character's reactions when he changes from a sweet sleepyhead to the kind of person nita_callahan's mun said makes "an EXCELLENT Kubrick stare".

Plot Idea: Shooting aliens with big freakin' guns

I Am Looking For: When Ianto and Michael met they bonded over shooting aliens and big guns, and Ianto offered to ask Michael for help whenever Torchwood needs another hand. Plots aren't my strong point so aside from Big Crab Creatures (did a chick? did a chunk?) I'm kind of stumped on this.

So, seeking brainstorming and other characters who'd like to shoot Giant Crab Creatures!

So, lobstrosities aside, Michael is very much looking forward to playing with guns and kicking ass.

Since Jack's partner's mun has been out of the game for a while, I decided when we moved over to make Jack a widow. However, Jack doesn't like being single. It makes him twitchy.

I Am Looking For: Single sentient being willing to date Father Nature. Must like apples.

Jack is open to male or female, human or immortal. An animal/non-two-legged being may be tricky, but doable.

I Am Looking For: Interactions with dogs and children, because FUN FACTS: Tommy loves dogs and is actually kind of good with kids. Unless they piss him off. Cats will usually annoy him and are annoyed by him. But still. He really isn't a skirt-chaser all the time. And these are actual canonical characteristics! I'm totally not just making them up for the potential Aww Factor. Like every time he talks about his kids with Elrond it seriously makes me weepy, and I just kind of want to explore that side of him some more.

I Am Looking For: Friends. Confidants. People he can talk about this weird stuff to, because he needs an outlet.

But also possible romance-y types would be amazing, because knowing what's ahead for him in-canon, I just ... my heart is already preemptively breaking.

I Am Looking For: More friends and some action for my Saracen knight. With the Arthur's fall his faith is shattered and he is adrift, he could use some direction. I could also play him a bit more. ; p

She's from even further back than him, although magic and gods and things are much, much more vague in her world than in his and the Greek gods haven't even been codified as the Olympian Twelve yet. He has the YJ team but they're teens. He also has his blood sister Ms. Martian but it's not the same. He could also use help training, especially with fighting in animal forms.

Information: Demigod, daughter of Athena, super clever, a very deft hand with knives, daggers, bows & arrows, and any other number of weapons. She's fiercely loyal, and also fiercely stubborn! She's one of the best people to have at your back in times of need. And she is a master strategist in battle.

Also, she's kind of ridiculously sweet and a big sap at the bottom of it all.

I Am Looking For: Close friends in-bar. She's got a few friends here but she could always do with more people to hang out with! I'd like to give her more of a connection to this place, since her world is currently pretty terrible.

Also teenage boys to have a nice, casual fun-date time with? Totally open to that. ;)

And finally, adventures! Excuses to visit other worlds! She loves architecture, so if you have interesting buildings? She'd be all over that.

Also, either romance/at least a little awkward flirting, and/or a good shrink/listener? She has a lot of issues with sexual/bodily autonomy that she's never really dealt with, and I think she's never going to deal with it unless she talks to someone about it.

Information: Katya is an Other, a human (or was one, once upon a time) who has become the embodiment of the Light side of humanity. Sorta. She is trained as a battle mage - she will gleefully go to battle against the sort of things that send normal people into permanent therapy, and will equally cheerfully attempt to drink anyone under the table.
She's also very Russian.
She also probably won't tell you about any of that except the Russian until you either a) know her well or b) are an Other-type creature yourself. She's slowly learning a way of life that isn't the rigidly ruled and controlled Watch, thanks to Skellig.

I Am Looking For: Any chance for her to go all battle mage on something, in or out of bar, any chance for her to go on learning how to get on with humans without either weirding them out or being weirded out by them. Also, pick-up games of Pyramid. :D

Information: He's a sorcerer in New York. He's the oldest sorcerer in New York, so long as the other two of Merlin's apprentices remain in the Grimhold. He also has a sense of sarcasm a mile wide and a self-sacrificing nature even broader.
He also dresses in very classy clothes.

I Am Looking For: It is very much my fault he hasn't been back in a while (augh) but I'm looking for more excuses to break up the strain of his canon - trying to train someone who doesn't really want any part of the battle he's lived in for thousands of years, trying to keep said boy from getting himself killed, and trying to somehow rescue his girlfriend from the grip of the woman who killed Merlin.
Yeah, he's stressed.

I Am Looking For: Reasons to go anywhere but home. Preferably in the form of freelance work that can make use of his special skills. Open to any environment and pretty much any kind of job - he's very adaptable. He's a good guy at heart with an ultimate soft spot for women and kids. Good with combat of every sort, explosives, stealing things, surveillance, body guard work, essentially anything you might want a super spy to do he can make it work. Mun likes to get him in trouble and is not limited to minor/moderate injuries, running from/being caught by people, pissing people off, and making the occasional mistake in judgement.

I Am Looking For: Sariel already has a number of friends in bar, but she could use a few more. If there are elseworld adventures involved, all the better! Fair warning, violence without a good reason isn't her idea of fun.

Information: Earth-mage, world-saver (either in a couple of months or ten years ago, depending which of him we're working with), kind of an emotional mess but you won't catch him admitting it.

What I'm seeking, 1: For the younger version, I'd like to have some more multiverse shenanigans. Send him off to other worlds, especially variants of Earth, preferably without getting set on fire or radiation (I don't even know why this is a thing with him); some limited elseworld hosting, although canon (and the fact that nobody else from it knows about Milliways) restricts how much of that is feasible. At some point I want to get him stranded on some variant of Earth for a while, and have to try to blend in while he tries to find a way back.

What I'm seeking, 2: Older Felix, while he's also up for multiverse shenanigans (and better able to host them), has a bunch of problems, many of which relate to his (millicanonically) dead girlfriend. I'd like to have someone get him to admit those problems; then via either someone else or Conversations With Dead People have a conversation with her spirit; then have some kind of... redemption-quest, or such?; and then, once all that's done, some kind of Milliromance.

Tall order, I know, but I believe in you, Milliways!

OOM Miniplot: It's About Time!

Plot Idea: Operation Take The Giant Three-Headed Dog Home
where it's taking place: Equestria and the surrounding environs.
Characters Involved: Twilight Sparkle
I Am Looking For:
In the MLP episode "It's About Time!", there's a subplot in which Cerberus, the three-headed demon dog of Greek mythology, has wandered away from home, and Twilight has to lead him back to the border of Tartarus, the border of which he is supposed to be guarding. Now, in the ponyverse, Tartarus is not the realm of the dead; rather it's a land to which all the evil creatures of the world have been banished. And considering the creatures that weren't banished include dragons, manticores, hydras, cockatrices, and GIANT SPECTRAL BEARS, we're presumably talking about some pretty nasty customers.

After Cerberus has been subdued, Twilight will pop into Milliways to recruit a few assistants to help her escort the giant dog back to Tartarus, as well as to deal with any creatures that might have escaped while the border was unguarded. I'm thinking three volunteers at most, to keep the plot from getting too unwieldy. So, does anyone feel like going on an Adventure in the ponyverse?
