Sorry for being kind of spacey the past couple days, folks. If this makes it better at all, I went home and slept forever yesterday and now I feel nearly human again, so that part's cool.

Earl and I are supposed to see The 41st Texas Folklife Festival that runs this weekend.

(At least that was the general plan when we bought tickets weeks ago. It'll probably all depend on the levels of my ability to get up and do things whether I get to be part of that this weekend, as there've been up days and down days this week.)

I may be doing some volunteer cooking work at Ronald McDonald house- not sure, though. I'll almost certainly be attempting to bike up to the George Washington Bridge area and see how I do against the Palisades, which are basically one long uphill of nasty.

Somewhere between helping to prepare for the annual synagogue dinner and attending the dinner, there should be enough time for...a movie!

The question is, which one? Batya still hasn't seen Hunger Games, and might try to see that with a friend while it's still in a theater, and I will go see MiB3 (based on Rick's surprisingly positive review) or Prometheus on my own. But if the friend can't see it, we go see Avengers. Either way, we are likely to see something on our list.

I intend to attempt a potato pancake recipe I found in a magazine.

Also, play D&D, book flights to and from Atlanta (official D*C membership card came yesterday), restock on my supply cache at the office and try and catch up on my different online games.

I suspect I'm going to be spending much of it asleep though.

A friend's coming over for dinner tonight after errands are taken care of. Dad said he's free Saturday so there are tentative plans to look at houses. Sunday will probably be lazy time, or as lazy as I can get with no definite plans to clean up. XD;

There's a burner (as in Burning Man) fundraising event that I'm considering going to on Friday in Lewisville (north of Dallas), which would be a nice time to see the folks I missed because I missed Burning Flipside over Memorial Day.

Sadly, I am missing out on one of my annual conventions for the first time in thirty years this weekend. I'm pretty sad. So, I've got plans for a lot of bed rest and continuing to catch up on things. I am the most boring.

Well, I was planning to go to the cricket today, except both the first two days have been washed out for the first time in England since 1964. :(

I am off to my Gran's on Sunday, for a few days, so I will be super-slow early next week.
