I was a bad mun and didn't do anything in Milliways this week. I blame Hank McCoy for stealing all my writing thunder but what thunder he made, especially this thread post-canon with Raven. In addition to Hank, I also played a new head voice, Arcee from Transformers Prime, for some fun with Tyler and some more fun with post-canon Hank.

As usual, all my threads are still open, except the Raven one.

Oh, you know I'm gonna throw this one up here: a Probie wearing a towel walks into a bar. Three things about this. I want to see Probie and Voodoo end up total bros; the magic words "I'm a New York City firefighter" has no effect on Jane Austen; Tommy and Lou do their best to explain space and magic to him without smacking him over the head.

Meanwhile, in Milliways, stuff happened. Most notably, Kane ran into Charles Xavier, and discussed alternate timelines, changing the world, and, of course, tiberium.

She also comes across a drunk and drugged Haymitch after he'd had a very rough day, and she offers him some comfort. Just not the comfort he thinks she's offering.

I turned 31 on Friday and have been having good birthday week. On the day I spent the evening with a friend and watched The Faculty, today I had lunch with Rick and we went books shopping. Life is good.

A lot of my favorite threads have been mentioned already; Jane and Probie, Kane and Charles and the sandbox Hank and Charles stuff. Other than Jane, Charles and William have been my loudest pups and doing some fascinating threads.

I feel so happy about being able to post a lot of OOMs that I've been sitting on like the Charles/Iris in Oxford one. Soon there will be more X-Men ones, I love my cast.

Charles and Red talked control and change. His chess EP made me so happy; talking the future with Stark, being shaken with Rae, suspicious of Kane and bloodbath chess with Claudia. The thread with Mark Grayson was fascinating. I've been wanting to thread with this character and I'm so glad I did.

Jane and Kate Barlow are quietly wonderful. I adore their friendship.

William and Tobias had an awkward thread as did he and Gaeta, thankfully Horus was there to make everything better with purrs. Sadly not the case with William and Remus, where they just keep not quite hitting it off. The William OOM in Miami was a real treat too.

Moist talked to Erik and this thread keeps making me smirk. I keep wanting to apologize to Erik.

Elsegame I've been not quite as busy but with some lovely threads. Charles and Rebecca St. Clair have a great conversation about mental mix ups and he and Claire Barton are in the midst of an intriguing thread. Matt and Tiwa also make me absurdly happy though this is an older thread.

Outside of that, I finished draft Numero Uno of the first unprompted fic I've written in...Jesus, something like four years. Now I just have to polish and post the sucker. (Related to that, if anybody wants to beta a late-S4 Fringe fic revolving around red!Olivia and amber!Lincoln...*bats eyelashes, looks adorable?*)

Out of the Internet, I was a big ol' geek and painted miniatures, yay! Also, doted on my 2-year old and 3-month old nieces.

I put up a Thor OOM and an EP, and also threw him at Aphrodite. ENORMOUS FUN ALL AROUND. Aside from Aphrodite, he's met Diana of Themyscira, Duo, Princess Luna, Elle, the Fool, Teja, Enzo, Clark Kent, and Leela, and re-met Darcy from later in his own canon. This is enough threads that I'm being shamefully slow, but I'm having tons of fun with all of them.

(Edit: oh, and I've faded out on all threads of his last EP in the interests of having any RP energy left for new ones -- I love you all and all the threads, and please feel free to throw them at him again! -- but the one exception to that is Marvel!Thor meets SPN!Loki. We have finally gotten past the point of what we'd done previously in a sandbox thread, and are striking out into new ground. THEY'RE GETTING ALONG GREAT well uh Thor hasn't actually punched him yet? Despite considering it really hard.)

In RL, I got some writing and some cosplay sewing done! 'Tis the season when I really need to work on my ambitious costuming projects, lest I get stuck trying to finish everything the week before Dragon*Con.

you know, we can discuss controlled conditions for this sometime. *giggling* It's not at all hard to have Thor put Mjolnir down for a while and wander offscreen if there's a reason; he doesn't generally worry about any harm coming to the magic battle hammer that nobody else can lift and that comes to his call. Graffiti has not previously been pointed out to him as a potential issue!

Although it would go a decent way to convincing him that this Loki is actually kind of like his own, really.)
