i can steal weekend entertainment?
I can delete this if someone had something else in mind.
But so I was just wondering: do your pups have any quirks, characteristics, habits, etc. that you yourself have -- or that you find yourself taking on?
Personally, after playing Tommy Gavin, I say "goddammit!" a lot more often than I ought to.

Also, while this is something that hasn't come out in more than bits and pieces in Millicanon, I kind of based his family structure off mine: a small immediate family, but a decent-sized extended one with cousins that were more like siblings. I swear, sometimes I feel like I see my cousins more than I see my actual siblings. *rueful grin*

I probably eat more sushi thanks to Yrael, but all my snark was there beforehand. He can't take any credit.

Lucas probably talks the most like me, much to my own personal chagrin. I can't escape my southern accent, no matter how faint my local peers think it is. I don't think terms like "southern" can apply to the Nowhere Islands the way they do to the United States but he's definitely a farm boy.

And I swear I've pushed myself harder when exercising cause Ben never quits. I also don't' give myself excuses as often for things.

I'd like to think that the balance between quirks I had that drew me to a character in the first place, and quirks I've picked up as a result of playing said character is still in my favour. That goes for all my pups. (Haven't shot a wall, yet. Yet.)

Now Charles has some traits I'd like, he's a lot more patient than I am. I admit that he has his breaking points as do I, but he just takes empathy to a whole new level.
I think this is going to be a long and rather boring afternoon as I'm actually working on my own for four hours, but I do have iced tea.
Edit to add a little bit more as I thought of things. Also quite a lot of my pups are readers and writers who can get lost in a book the same way I do. My favorite part of playing my reader pups like well everyone but Will really is matching them with a book. Playing William has meant I've gone to poke online archives of dime novels.

Tower, on the other hand, doesn't do much, even though he's such a strong archetype. I guess I let him pass through me and am what I used to be afterwards, just a bit tired.

My version of Michael is perhaps a little more... lusty (shut up, Tommy)... than strictly canon. I blame this entirely on myself and my reading of the character. Hah. In return, I've taken on a bit more of his logical thinking. I think between writing him and writing Shawn in Psych fic I've picked up a lot more attention to what a character would see that I wouldn't and then applied it to my own thinking. If that makes any sense at all.
Henry and I are definitely very close. He's taken on touches of my insecurity while I've bonded with his love of fine Aloha shirt fashion.
Now Gus... is most definitely the pup I think is *most* like me. We share our deep seated insecurity, anxiety, need for validation, tendency to hit creeper mode around people we find attractive, and pessimism. Neither of us knows what to do when the people we *need* aren't available. And we both love a good meal (and chocolate) and have a tendency to let our own wants get us in trouble. We're both pop culture junkies and geeks. Uh... yeah, I'm kind of the white female version of Gus. This is weird.

When I've been playing her a lot I sometimes feel blunter, and if I can say so without encouraging drinking and roleplaying (drink responsibly, kids!), a little alcohol only helps my inner Kara rear her stubborn head.

With my OCs, I have an amalgam of their quirks anyways, and the quirks flow in both directions. Sometimes it can be hard to tell if I started doing something because my character did, or if the character got their quirk from me.
