I'm attempting my hand at Zelda over there (and Panfandom Sandbox) too, it's just that certain bodily (mal?)functions have gotten in the way.
Bluh.
edit: Skyward Sword Zelda, I should say, although I've got one heckuva Twilight Princess AU brewing and I can't make up my mind whether I want to play Zelda or Midna from that.
My brain may have been consumed by Lt. Commander McGarrett in the last few days. Enough to the point I'm seriously debating looking in the direction of some future sandbox playtimes?
I currently have a Capt. Jane Roland myself due to reading "Crucible of Gold". She's such a minor character in the books and yet every time she's mentioned I glee.
I uh, have a Charlie Kenton from Real Steel. I really wasn't expecting much from the flick other than robots being the shit out of each other without Shia LaBlahblah around, so it was a real shock when partway through I decided I needed to play this guy.
... brain, sweetie, this is not a good time to bring the Cybertronian pups out of mothballs.
(if anything, it might be the time to go back and read Jane Yolen's Pit Dragon trilogy; Jakkin's work with Heart's Blood in the fighting pits rings some of the same bells.)
(I'll be slogging through work even more than usual for most of the day as I train our latest New Guy so things will be slow at best, but tags are still welcome!)
I haven't got anybody to test this month, alas. I got that out of my system last month, mostly.
I say mostly because after last night's thread in which Thalestris briefly mistook Princess Luna for a manifestation of Artemis, and then had to explain to her that hoofed creatures are just animals who don't and can't talk where she comes from, I have a horrible urge to see Dr. Zaius in the Bar. Or, possibly, Cornelius.
I keep waffling back and forth on whether to try apping Raz from Psychonauts. I kinda feel like what makes him interesting is the mental worlds he gets to visit rather than the character himself, which is kind of a shaky foundation to start from.
Lady Loki, luckily, wills stay strictly over there. I don't even know where she is actually from, she doesn't tell me; and there are THREE Lokis in the bar already.-
All of my sandbox fun lately has been one of my Warehouse 13 OCs - all of a sudden I wanted to get into how she ended up at the Warehouse. (Phyllis started out as a logical extension of some of the information in "Where and When" - if the guy filling Artie's position was so grumpy about being asked to fish for information, there must have been people around specifically *to* do that - when I was writing my epic AU. And then she was just so awesome that she moved into my headcanon.)
That reminds me I need to tag Coulson's threads over in PFSB. Moving a library in two weeks is not conducive to threading, editing a podcast, or staying up past 9:30, for that matter.

Oh. Tenzin. Never mind.
And yes, there really is a member of the Legion of Super-Heroes named Tenzil Kem, aka Matter Eater Lad. Whose powers were he could eat anything.
I should toss him into MM sometime just for fun, to see how people react to him eating the ashtrays.
