Test Drive Meme!
We're getting close to ap time again, so if you wanna test, now's the time!
HOW TO PLAY:
* Tag into this post with a character you're thinking of apping to the bar with a brief EP set within Milliways and/or its universe. You can be new to the game, or simply testing a new character.
* If you already play at Milliways - or if you don't - feel free to tag in with your own characters and interact with the new characters. If you have a character in the game, you can also post your own EPs for these new characters to thread with.
* Mingle, post, and have fun!

Snow White from Snow White and the Huntsman, brief spoilers
Snow White would not like to call it hiding, though.
She's just...
Up in a tree. Out by the lake.

"Hi."

She tried for over a week to get back, waiting each time she opened a door to see the inside of that freaky bar that apparently isn't a hallucination if the napkin in her pocket is true. Waiting's a bitch.
It wasn't until the morning after her Halloween party, after she'd screwed up and tried to maybe give Kurt another chance, and ended up kissing Leonard of all people, that she opened her front door to walk out into the hall with a baseball cap pulled down low to block out light.
And walked straight into a table where the stairs were supposed to be.
Crap on a cracker.
Well, hello there bar... hair of the dog? Sounds like a good plan.

When she knocks his table with his notes and tea, he says, "Careful."
no subject
At least it happened on her way out and not coming out of the bathroom in her robe and ratty bunny slippers not even an hour before.
no subject
He strengthens his shields as her hangover is impressive.
no subject
"I'm starting to get that impression," she blinks, focusing herself on the guy at the table - he looks kind of buttoned down, almost nerdy but without that... whole geeky thing her neighbors have. She's pretty sure he's harmless though, and after the night she's had - harmless is good.
"Ugh, yeah - I'm thinking going up and seeing if I can't get something to drink and maybe a few aspirin - are there aspirin here? Is that a universe-endy barish thing? Or do I have to wait until I get home for that?"

There's another blonde sitting next to you, tonguing her Bud and waiting for a basket of Paradoxes. She gets a drunken eyeing.
"Are you new?" then a shrug. "nah. You don't look new...."

Penny collapses onto a barstool and mutters something about a bloody mary and aspirin as she drops her yoga mat under her feet.
"Second time, still figuring it out," she mutters into her elbow, closing her eyes under the brim of her baseball cap.

Oh, and the fact that he's dead. Kinda.
Secretive vampire in the house.
Aieee! <3
It isn't that Ganymede can read minds, or knows what Eric is, but he can place the clothes. Living through that era makes him remember the styles fairly well. So have one apparently young--don't be fooled, he's actually older than even your maker, there--man studying your appearance with a faint smile.

The reply is polite and accented. The smile accommodating. But he moves his head a little too fast perhaps and he can feel the weight of his fangs, just out of sight. A dull pressure.
Something is off about this place.
no subject
Ganymede knows that smile, and the tone of the answer. It's the same way he replies, or did for a long time.

There is a slight emphasis on 'were'.
What was this place?

His work is nowhere near finished, but if his theory is correct, Riven should be stable enough to be safe during a brief period of rest. Not a long one, but if his dreams don't wake him, his mehanical alarm certainly will. Catherine would survive.
Tomorrow it would begin again, but right now it can wait. Right now it is time for Atrus to take his rest. Right now...he is standing in a strange room, surrounded by strange people, and is obviously a long way from K'veer.
Atrus blinks and rubs his eyes once again. Was he dreaming? Or had he gone mad? Given that the man been awake for days (and hasn't seen another soul for months), one might forgive him for being less than entirely certain. Or articulate.
"Wh...what?"
no subject
When Atrus enters, Charles looks up and smiles, that's a familiar sight, "This is Milliways. Come sit down. Would you like some tea or coffee?"
no subject
He shakes his head. "Forgive me, I've not slept in some time. I'm not dreaming, then? Or mad?"

Being addressed by a four-foot-tall purple equine with the voice of a young woman is probably less than reassuring to a man who doubts his own sanity.

Portal!
That's not against the rules, right?
Re: Portal!
Although it is going to get her a rather peculiar look from one of the human passers-by.

Though he might hurt the Companion Cube's feelings. She adds another circle-cherry.

(Kinda. In the way that Captain Steve Rogers of 1942 kinda resembled the General Steven "Rojhaz" Rogers he'd originally met, years ago.)
