For the uninitiated, this thread involves: Korra being introduced to chocolate, Voodoo stealing cupcakes and in general being a massive troll, Korra setting Voodoo's pants on fire, Voodoo flashing Korra (NOT LIKE THAT JEEZ GET YOUR MIND OUT OF THE GUTTER), and both of them racing and generally being Cheaty McCheatsters.

As the Joker would put it, this is what happens when an unstoppable force meets another unstoppable force.

On the non-RP front, I won Nanowrimo for the first time in something like six years. Still got it!

In other news, Unseen Academicals has done the service of waking up an old, old headvoice like nobody's business. This may lead to an EP for Imp sometime soon, and is definitely leading to fic grounded in a different setting entirely, but I'll have to type that up.
(But, fellow former Disc RP types... you might want to keep your eyes open. XD)

This week seemed to be a week of me trying to RP and work saying "Oh No you didn't!"

Despite this I did EP Hank McCoy and he's meeting Elrond (And I swear Hank isn't going to fanboi too much) and Katya. He also will be meeting Tyler, Urquhart and Leela, all of which I look forward too once I get more time.

Over in the sand boxes, I played in the AUHogwarts world again with Aloysius Crurin. He's stumbled into Prof. Loki's class, bumped into co-Head Student Dinah and will be chatting with lower classmen Will Scarlett and Leonardo Hamato.

I almost sent Shephard over to him, since Shep periodically takes his eyeball dogs out with him to check the traplines he sets for demon bunnies in the woods, but I figured you had enough to deal with given that work was biting down. Another time, maybel.

I forgot I've also been writing a bunch in a post-X-Men:Last Stand fic. Three chapters with more to come; Hank joining the institute as a teacher and getting the New Mutants as his students.

I wrote a thing! And I threaded a few things! And I made a journal for another thing!

(the things in question for those who don't want to click: a Fringe fic set in late season 4, threads with Gaeta and Demeter and Steve Rogers, and an app for Bolin from Legend of Korra.)

...and then my power went out on Friday thanks to the "land hurricane" that clobbered the Midwest/mid-Atlantic, and I may not have it back until this upcoming Friday. >:||||||| So. That's fun. Luckily, the next neighborhood over has power, so I have been absconding there in order to keep myself from broiling alive/going through Internet withdrawal/losing all battery power to my phone and iPad. (Although right now the lady next to me is hogging two outlets with her giant charger, LADY, TURN YOUR CHARGER AROUND, OUTLETS ARE AT A PREMIUM RIGHT NOW.)

Anyway. Long story short, I did things, but I may only be able to sporadically continue those things this week. Many apologies, thread partners!

I arranged two moving estimates which are happening next week, saw Snow White and the Huntsman and Brave, wrote a fic about Charles and Erik and chess, and feel like maybe I can manage this moving thing. Oh and I also applied for another job through my agency though realized I've been mispelling their name all over the place.

Charles, Erik, and Iris conspired to make me go why and sigh at my screen a lot. Its from the tail end of last week but I love it.

Sameth and Voodoo were such boys with other duties. Sam and Link confused each other.

Demeter tried to talk sense into Teja as well as having her own EP. I think the threads with Steve and Gaeta are my favorites, she wants to fix everything. Beauford made her smile and him blush.

Will and Darius were unexpected. This thread reminds me of why I love playing Will, all the layers going on and Darius is fascinating.

Moist and Urquhart aren't really listening to each other, awkward moments in relationships are some of my favorites.

Thalestris and Tumnus were another treat of a thread. I love the mix of different times and worlds, threads like this one are why I adore playing. The Will and Darius one brought out the same issues.

Over in the sandboxes, I've been enjoying HP!AU Will who is a friend to Dinah and he and Babs make me beam. Teenage Charles is getting involved in Warehouse shenanginans and Snow White and Tumnus are quietly otherworldly.

Oh and Penny and Charles in the test drive post made me giggle.

I love how Charles is awful at explaining his feelings for Erik, it all ends up being but Reasons and Feelings and Him.

Late, because I'm late doing all things this week. No excuse, just life being stupid and my brain wanting to curl up and not exist because I'm pretty sure I suck.

Uh, things are being done. Still working on OOM stuff across the board. Still buried in tags for other games. Still weeks behind on stuff I should be writing (seriously, bromancestory is due at the end of the month & I haven't even started it yet).

So... yeah. Lacking happy, hot and sweaty out in Arizona, and running primarily on self inflicted guilt. It's a good week.

ETA: I did have a happy though! I played through the second chapter of Telltale's The Walking Dead game and that was awesome - I'm loving every bit of the story there. And considering writing fic. Because I have a hard on for small fandoms & rare pairs. Hah.

also met Raven, which I've wanted to happen FOREVER. The thread is hilarious.

I'm still working on threads from Juliet's bartending. Her thread with Shawn is beyond

adorable.

Clementine had a doozy of a week. She and Sam came to a reconciliation of a

sorts. They're trying to be friends, but her pants and heart blaze on for him. Meanwhile, she's having a flirtation and more with Tommy.

And Dixie's getting an OOM soon!

(And I finished several fics and painting of the house)
