Work. Lots of it. Boss is out tomorrow, and I am out next week. And we are far behind on everything. Will probably be here really late.

Mostly work. Possibly kayaking after work- they have free kayaking in the embayment at Pier 40 on Thursdays, and on weekends. Depends on the temperature, as I need to go home and turn on the A/C for the cats if things get too gross.

Work, probably going to see a house, baked zucchini (my coworker brought in homegrown for us; if there are any in the office that haven't been claimed, I'm snatching those suckers up), most likely writing on a collaboration, and me being a crazy person and planning out holiday stuff in July otherwise I'll be broke as a joke when my December trip rolls around.

Work! Because the amount of work in a week doesn't go down just because I had Monday off in lieu of Canada Day.

We got our power back Tuesday evening and lost it again yesterday. May not be back on until late tomorrow night. Thank goodness for the office.

I feel like I'm the only one whose answer isn't work! I've had a bad week & today is my day (at least for the next six hours or so) is about decompressing. Gonna catch up on all my tags & putting up Gus' bar tending in a little bit. :)

By being a bum at home tonight where it's cool while doing laundry and catching up on everything ever.

A power outage, so I'm currently at a local cafe and I had another mover stop in. Though I realized that I don't think I actually own a flashlight, need to buy one on my way home or possibly download one to make my phone one. Hopefully the power will come back soon. I don't want to lose all my food in my freezer or fridge.

Also I'm so very tired. I blame the heat, but its been raining and that's cooled things down as well as taking down power.

Warning, flashlight apps can burn up your battery like insanity if you're using it for more than a quick look around.

Also, they're more for directional lighting than lighting up a space. Unless you get one that uses the screen rather than the camera flash, but that still leaves you the battery drain problem.

Probably best to buy a flashlight. Especially since you probably want to reserve your phone for emergencies and such.

Good to know and that was my thought as well, its just annoying and one more thing to think about.

Well, it's always good to have a flashlight on hand, just in case. Never know when the power might go, or when you'll need to chase something like errant Skittles or deadly spiders under the bed.

You gotta get those suckers before they kill you!

The spiders, not the Skittles. But, flashlights help beating the five-second rule with the Skittles. Can't eat what you can't find *G*

Yeah, I feel like I must have bought one before I moved but I don't know. Ah well, I can pick one up.

I'm sitting at a cafe and feeling incredibly tired and wondering if I should report my power being out.

Its that weird thing of so many people are out but town still has power.

So I feel like what if I report it and go home to find I have power. Its just a pain all around and I kind of want a nap.

Generally if you look on the company's website they'll have a list showing what's already been reported, and a timeframe where they're expected it'll be fixed.

That's my experience, anyhow.

Yeah, I keep checking that but there so far isn't one for where I am. I think its a problem of the website isn't being updated as much as other stuff.

Though in terms of threads, I've got a teenage Charles if you want to a thread, he's in MM and PFSB. I think he's about the speed I can manage.

Here and yeah, I'll call up the energy company to see what happened and then report it just to be safe. I can see on their outage map, our little section marked, but don't know enough of what that means.
