Daily Entertainment!
I always thought it was amusing to learn how other people envision my pup's voices. Sometimes they're right on the money, and sometimes they're...off!
So how does your character actually sound? And if you've played with a character whose voice is linked to here, how close was your idea of that character's voice to the real thing? Or were you waay off?

And also there's this.

Btw, I used to think of Link as sounding like someone from an '80s cartoon, you know, when only 10 voice actors voiced everyone ever, and maybe a little higher-pitched.

Voice acting is still a very new and special thing in the game Amascut and Evil Chicken come from. Amascut hasn't received a voice yet but if she does I suspect she will come out sounding vaguely one of Britian's middle-eastern former colonies-ish because, well, the game devs are British(their offices are in Cambridge, to be more precise). I still fondly remember the anger of American players when the first voiced quest came out. Ever since then, PCs haven't been voiced, even in voiced quests. :D
Evil Chicken has been voiced. Actually, several Evil Chickens. The voice was unexpected but it made sense.
Umm, but I am guessing you didn't mean this by "heard". Um... I submit Amascut and Evil Chicken to the peanut gallery without commenting on Link, because I haven't played Zelda games enough to have a headvoice, besides his occasional exclamations :P
no subject
Anyhow, all Link has his is exclamations, pretty much. XD
(By "heard" I mean if you've ever played with a character and gotten a certain idea about their voice in your head--although the rest of what you posted is valid, too, 'cause I wanna hear what the characters actually sound like!)

For Hank I have Nicholas Hoult's voice but once he changes, I totally hear Kelsey Grammer's.
Beast Boy's is totally the same as the series. And actually this clip reminds me I need to ask if there are any waterfalls within the bounds of Milliways.
Mars is totally Kevin Smith when he's being mortal but it gets much deeper and echoie if he goes immortal.
I don't think any of my other pups have external voices yet but with past pups...
Rincewind was totally Nigel Planner, aka Neil in this clip. I blame the audiobooks.
Jessica Drew totally matches the voice they used for her motion comic. And now I'm missing Jessica. *face palm*
I am kind of nervous for Thalia with the new movie coming but I'll wait until I hear her.

My others are all voice-acted in canon, so. This is my go-to cutscene for Kain's voice patterns. Here's Cranky's episode, and I don't feel like isolating a particular moment or episode for Fluttershy.

Admittedly, it's set a couple years after MoH 2010, so his accent's softened a bit, but.
John sounds like this. Skip to where he finally meets his family.

Head!Merlin is more like Colin Morgan's natural Irish accent than the accent he uses on the show; and Head!Dakin sounds more like Dominic Cooper in Mamma Mia! (not the best quality clip, but the only one I could find with some dialog) than he does in The History Boys. It's a lighter tone, somehow.
Someone did a great analysis of Steve's verbal patterns recently, like how not only does he never curse but he rarely uses period slang, either. Trying to keep him from sounding too modern has been the biggest challenge with his voice, but I think it also helps me keep the tone right. (He kind of talks like my grandpa. They were the same generation, give or take five years.) This is an interview with Chris Evans with a few Steve moments.
Gareth David-Lloyd, especially in the first series of Torchwood, had a habit of dropping his Gs and Hs so I like to have Ianto do that sometimes, especially when he's comfortable with whoever he's talking to. And of course I relish those lovely round Welsh vowels. (There are more fanvids than clips of TW on youtube. I find that hilarious.)
Bilbo, I admit, is a mix between Martin Freeman and Orson Bean in my head. (Links to "The Hobbit" animated special in its entirety.) (OMG THIS HAS THE PETER JACKSON DIALOG WITH THE RAKIN-BASS ANIMATION. I LOVE THE INTERNET.)
The Green Man, though, I don't really hear as David Wenham, or even Billy Boyd or Bernard Hill when I use them as avatars. In my headcanon he's been in the US long enough to lose any British accent he may have gained over the years (though, according to one theory I've read recently, what we think of as "the American accent" was the British accent in 1700s; and then what we consider the British accent became the fashionable accent around the time of the Revolution, so maybe he still sounds British to himself? IDK. It gets to "oh dear my eyes have crossed" territory.) When he's being particularly treeish, yes, he does sound like an Ent :D.
Now I have to wonder what kind of accent someone who speaks Old English would have when speaking modern English. Hmm.

Sallie I think sounds like Kathy Bates.
Iris...I don't know. I think she has two voices - one for when she is in the bar/talking to mortals, and another when she is on a Job or talking to one of the Twelve. I kind of see her sounding like Christina Hendricks or Deborah Ann Woll.

Charles, William, Jane and Tumnus all come from movies and the way they sound is how I hear them. The Pirate King of course is Kevin Kline.
Will to me sounds more like James McAvoy's true accent here just a little rougher to make sense of the fact he's from an older time. So even though three of my pups have James McAvoy for a face, they all sound completely different. Charles is rather more polite and careful of his words, Tumnus is formal and Will is rougher.
Moist sounds like Jude Law when he's using his English accent, I don't have a clear mental voice for Uberwaldian accent.
Demeter, I actually don't have a clear voice for her. I see her as someone who has an accent that's not easy to place and a warm voice.
Sameth, I don't have as much of a mental voice for either, I can see how he moves but there isn't a voice.
Its odd how with some of my pups, I need that mental voice, with Will and William that's part of them. Since they have accents that define their time and story but not all of them need to have that in my head.

Gordon is notorious for being a silent protagonist, but I have generally gone with the idea that he sounds like Jamie Hyneman, from Mythbusters.
Adrian's speech patterns and voice resemble those of several guys I met in Preston County, West Virginia. Despite the PB, he doesn't actually sound like John Cusack with an accent. He sings baritone, if that helps at all.
Belar, on the other hand, sounds like Owen Wilson. It's easier for me that way.
I have no idea what Ellen's voice actually sounds like. When I write her parts, I think in text. Same deal with Thalestris.

Mozzie, Sam, Steve, Rod, and Jameson (even though he is from the book) all also sounds like their actors.
Emmett may sounds like Kellan Lutz, but honestly I think he has a southern accent, because in the books If Edward only being 17 still talked like his time period, I think Emmett would sound like he's from Tennessee.

Also, best insult in the world, ever.
ETA: I should also state that Gene sounds nothing at all like his PB, the lovely Philip Glenister, who is actually from London and rather delightfully posh*. That threw a few people back in the day, who assumed he was really from Manchester.
*He's actually quite middle-class, but being brought up in Harrow, sounds posh to the most of the rest of the country.

I like to follow Gene's threads, but I don't actually watch Life on Mars or Ashes to Ashes. (Yet, anyway.) I do, however, watch a lot of Top Gear. As a result, in my head Gene has the voice of Jeremy Clarkson.

Splinter sounds like he does in the 2007 CGI movie, or...like Uncle Iroh.
Raph sounds like a cross between his Nolan North and Josh Pais, both men who voice him in respective movies.
Ida sounds like her actress.
The Loompas sound like whoever they're ripping off when they sing.
Aang sounds like Aang.
As for Bumi...I don't actually know what Bumi sounds like. But I'd know him if I heard him.

But if you'd like canon clips, I can provide! And cover a few of my canonmates. (Apparently Hulu will complain that you're blocking its ads, but it still plays the clips once they're done loading.)
Kara in a race to kill a badass Cylon Raider called Scar. No real spoilers.
Kara confronts Gaeta. (Sorry, Gaeta! The pony's on us.) Spoilers for early season three.
Kara tells Sam about life with her mom. From season three, but more backstorytastic than spoilierific. Mentions child abuse.

Elizabeth sounds like... well, like Keira Knightley playing a Governor's daughter who becomes a Pirate King.
Jim has an Australian accent and a warm, earnest voice. I can't find any clips on YouTube, but I did find this. Jim in my head is now scarred for life.
Wait! I lied. Here. That's Jim.
I like to think Alanna sounds like Cate Blanchett as Elizabeth.
Thayet has a deep, clear voice according to canon, but now she sounds like Aishwarya Rai in my head.
Doctor Evil just sounds ridiculous. XD

Borgel is my only unvoiced pup. He has a very clear voice in my head that I find difficult to describe. It's loud, boisterous, and tinged with a small trace of an accent. There's a touch of Brian Blessed to it.

Now for the OCs. I tend to completely disregard their PBs' voices and pick voice actors who played a similar character (usually somewhat similar-looking as well as similar-acting) somewhere else.

I wanted a good Mary-being-haughty clip from the show, but apparently ITV likes to protect there intelectual property.

Tavi... canonically has a baritone speaking voice, fairly compelling given the ridiculous CHA rolls he has to make. I haven't made any associations yet to real voices, though--which is weird for me.

But Robo sounds a lot like this.
