I am not feeling particularly awesome on the RP front so I'll skip that part
And mention that there's a big huge RP appreciation meme going on right now, if you want to namedrop some awesome players here. Here is the place where you post new threads.
(And I realize there is no way for this not to look like I'm seeking validation BUT if you reasonably don't want to mine through all of those comments to see who's been listed and who hasn't, I know I'm up here, and I don't think anyone else from Mways has been mentioned yet?)
I finished a week's worth of volunteering at a camp for teaching disabled kids how to ride two-wheeler bicycles. (Which is why I wasn't posting during the day!) And yesterday I got to use a Groupon for a heavily discounted ninety minute kayaking tour of the Hudson harbor area, down by Liberty State Park. So there was that!
On the RP front I didn't get to do all that much- like I said, bicycling camp most of the week, with a side of 'oh great, groin muscle pull'. But I am kind of proud of the OOM I did for Ellen, since 90% of the stuff I do in her world these days is pure post-canon plot that I like to think is simply logical outgrowths of how canon happened. I'm hoping to adapt the last available part of canon, the Point Lookout downloadable content, sometime in the next few months. Once I figure out how to make it make sense, anyway.
This week has been long and hard as I've been sick, the movers took ages to get in touch with me and work sucked. RP was helpful for finding some balance and not wanting to crawl home and hide in bed.
I did write a blog post on my librarian blog over here.
Will flirts with Gina and its nice having him loud and around. He also ran a Happy Hour. Over in sandboxes, he's talking with Clint Barton, which is a thread that makes me happy.
Moist and Imp had an excursion. Imp seems to trust Moist, this won't end well.
Charles is still in OOMland but he's in the midst of a great sandbox thread with Bryce Wayne. Their weird friendship makes me so happy and Adiva is brilliant.
He's a natural flirt but it just hasn't been out in ages due to Allpocalypse, mean plot stuff and a little moping. Gina is fun as well. I'm glad to finally thread with her.
Currently wrapped up in some OOMs at the moment so that's why Tommy hasn't been obnoxiously all over the bar for a while, but there was Kate Barlow's Very Special Milliversary, or possibly Part III in the Peaches Trilogy Saga or whatever. I don't even know.
I had some threads, but I fee like my bigger achievement this week is surviving a bout of food poisoning on Wednesday (I don't recommend it). This weekend I made my first trip back t my college campus since I graduated (I think it would've been weirder if school had been in session; as it was it was good to be back in the area), and then we made an unexpected side quest to Boston today. (And then the Check Engine light came on, ARGH. But we'll sort it out.)
Also! My cricket team what I score for, beat the second top team in the league (they are top), to go 6 points clear, with 6 points being max available for a win! whoot!

Oh, and Adrian Shephard found out what his silver hand does when he's not paying attention. Gifts from the Fair Folk never come without some weird side effect, after all.

Jane and Dinah talked of books and happy endings. She and Kate Barlow spoke of things not coming together.
Sameth went all Wallmaker with Shephard's oddly behaving magic hand. I love getting to play that part of who he is.
Demeter offered to take on lawyers for Orpheus.

And I think very soon some X-Men First Class OOMs will be posted.
Oh wait, Jessica Drew reappeared to meet Agent Coulson and movieverse Clint Barton.
I seem to have had a slow but fun week.
