Good morning, Milliways, and happy Sunday Indulgences.

I know that it's been a rough week for many members in our community. I also want to extend giant hugs to all members of our group, because everyone needs a hug once in a while, you know? Let's spread the love and share things that we've either seen or done ourselves this week in either RL or RP that have made us happy - sharing as a community!

(But please, no TDKR spoilers in this post, for those who haven't seen the film yet.)

quinby AND I FOUND AN APARTMENT. AND GOT APPROVED FOR IT. ALL ON THE SAME DAY. (It is literally across the street from the first place we looked at, but owned by a different management company and infinitely less sketch; it's amazing what a difference crossing the street makes.)
I haven't done much on the RP front this week, and that's why, in large part. Merc, thanks for the good vibes!

(Related to said: If anyone has tips on where to find furnishings/can spare a couple bucks, we kinda have a crowdsourced-housewarming thing going on. Entirely optional!)

Haha, crowdsourcing housewares is kinda brilliant. My family is moving from two apartments to two different apartments and one off-campus house, and the housewares are flying. If I end up with anything extra I'll let y'all know!

I'm feeling healthier, have been canceling various utilities in preparation for moving and have a job interview on Tuesday. I also made it through working three closing shifts in a row during Art Fair.

In terms of RP, I posted X-Men OOMs, gave Charles an EP and tagged him out to Ako, Sallie, Beauford, who confused him a lot. Over in the sandboxes, he talked to Bryce Wayne.

Will and Katya stared at wrong vodka. In the sandboxes, he met Prince Hal and Esther is brilliant.

Demeter had a strange week as she is confused by a plant from Priest Leo's world and by Persephone from Hadestown in Mixed Muses. She also thought Darius was adorable.

Sameth is kind of getting along with the Brucolac. He and Mary Bennet are also having a nice conversation about their worlds.

I think that's everything, I always find myself doing more threading than I realize.

I... um. May have applied for a transfer for a hospital in a different state. I am still deeply nervous about this. ... And haven't heard anything yet, so nervous may be moot, yes? Blah?

Also, I'm loving Doc-Katya way too much. :D

I went to orientation for my next college experience (the previous one having kicked me out with a diploma), and learned that I'm going to need to go back to talk to an advisor. And then I got home and fell asleep almost immediately. And then I discovered that if I fall asleep a bit after six in the evening, I wake up at about quarter to one in the morning.

So that was a thing. But progress is being made.

More X-Men First Class OOMs and not much else this week for me. I have a few slow timed plot and AU things going on with Hank and Raven but not much else this week as I seem to have lost track on my muse.

Julie did put in an appearance as did Beast Boy and Ben Grimm but I am lazy/busy so am going to be lame and not link. Fun threads though even if I did flake on them. = ]

Oh and Palamedes is being introduced to vodka by Kayta but again I need to run so no link.

Well, I got my bike out and did some distance; I went up from home to the George Washington Bridge and over the bridge and down along the river greenway until I reached Pier 40, and then did about half an hour on the river with the Downtown Boathouse's free kayaking program, and then rode to the WTC PATH station and got off at the first stop on the New Jersey side and rode home from there. So there's that.

I'm kind of pleased with Shephard's EP, particularly where he discusses a bit of philosophy with Terezi. Also with Ellen's OOMs; sometimes it helps me to remember to step back and show how other characters in her world see her.

And as for my kittens- Shula, Kamella, and random disgruntled watermelon cat.


ETA: Oh! And testing a headvoice in MM. Book headvoices are always a little tricky.

I have been massively slow on tagging up my OOMs (sorry, all) due to re-organising my week around kidlet's graduation from nursery (why is this even a Thing, idk) and returning to work after time off, and whatnot. But I did get a nice letter yesterday, informing me I won a prize at Uni for best Creative Writing portfolio of the year. Which was quality. *beams*

Well, finished up a few much needed Henry OOMs - breaking my own heart with him & Karen and their delightful romance. *sigh*

Prepping to move into some Gus canon very soon here with a bff-date with Gus & Shawn that should be done soonish where he gets a bit tipsy and maybe says things he should say (and admits he totally cheated on Shawn by giving Beauford a fistbump)

Been whoring out my OCs over in smut-land and Michael tagged into both Amy & Carol from The Walking Dead on one of the bakerstreet meme's because I'm obsessed with the idea of Michael Westen surviving in Zombieland. Because he's awesome and I kind of am on a massive zombie kick and avoiding the urge to write an epic zombie!AU.

Wrote a tiny bit of fic. Mostly just dealing with RL kicking my butt the only way I can.

Various OOM stuff all over the place - OH! private threading dead!Wash & Zoe because it hurts so good... and... uh... yeah, concentration is not my strong suit tonight. Might just go play KOL a bit. Hah.
