~Plotting Meme~

It's a bit late, but welcome to this month's Milliways Plotting meme! What's a Plotting Meme? It's a place to gather new plots and interactions for characters you're stalled for ideas with, characters new to bar, or pups you're dying to find rivals, friends, or romantic partners for! It's also a place to toss out ideas for larger plots. Looking to run a season-specific event or mini-plot? Ask here!

Here's how to particpate:

1: Copy and paste the information in one of the text boxes below into a comment; the bottom one if you're looking for a plot for your character or the top if you have a large, bar-wide plot you'd love to get other characters involved in.

For Individual Characters:

2: Give us your character's name, journal address, and a brief description of who they are and what they do - no more than a brief paragraph that summarizes this and their current bar plot.

3: Then tell us what kind of relationship you're looking to cultivate: romance, rivalry, a business partner, etc. Do this for each pup you'd like plot for.

4: After posting your comment, scan the post, see if anyone else's offer cataches your eye, and comment to them! If you've threadded with someone before and want to build on the interaction you've had, tell them so! Details can be worked out in private or they can be worked out on the meme, whichever you prefer.

Information: Just your average burned spy... looking for some plotting after working through the next bit of canon - probably toward the middle-end of August depending on how things go. Possibly sooner if it's OOM only stuff.

I Am Looking For: Primarily Jobs, probably one or two interesting jobs that can branch out into other stuff - even if our pups have never met. He's got a message posted with pertinent info. ALSO been kicking around the idea of twisting the knife in his sort of relationship with Emma by having an affair - preferably with a male, no strings attached either as part of a job or simply a one night stand. It'd have to be agreed on first, but I think there's a lot to play with there.

Information: Twenty year old Paladin and Chaplain of the Brotherhood of Steel on her first official tech reclamation assignment. Post-canon version of the player character of Fallout 3 (well, mostly post canon, I'm still trying to make Point Lookout make sense and not be hideously offensive).

I Am Looking For: Ellen is trying to get a robot factory back into operational condition and has a good deal of assistance in order to pull it off. This part is fine. However, there's a splinter faction of the Brotherhood in the area that may soon make an attempt at claiming the whole thing for themselves, and I'm hoping someone or someones from the Bar can help her with talking the Outcasts out of doing something colossally stupid. We'll just start from there.

Information: Red here's a werewolf, only just coming to terms with the fact that this doesn't automatically make her a monster (Snow and Charles are largely to thank for that).

I Am Looking For:
She needs to learn how to control the wolf. The first step's going to be remembering what happens - Charles is pretty well lined up for that - and the second step's going to be spending a full moon at Milliways. Probably not this coming since I'm moving next weekend, but maybe the one after that. Some fellow werewolves to chill(?) with would be wonderful for that.

Stuff has just been too serious for him. This can be involve pretty much anything since this would be something from Reed's lab he messed up; time travel, dimensional travel, aliens, cowboys, ninjas, dragons, whatever.

Information:A pre-canon (aside from flashbacks) Eric who is eager to find out how he can use Milliways to his advantage. He is an old vampire and used to be a viking warrior so he likes what you'd expect. Fighting, women, and drinking. Only now he drinks blood and he is not completely inflexible re: gender.

I Am Looking For:Both those willing and unwilling to be bitten. Eric is not completely defined by his bloodlust after all, so he could be fun in other kinds of plots as well. He is using the opportunity to practice his smooth, gentlemanly behaviour, so unsuspecting well-bred women might be fun.

I Am Looking For: This is likely a month or so away but once we get past the attack on Division X, Hank is going to look for anyone to teach him how to fight and I would love several teachers. A definite plus for any who can help him create his own martial art based on his physiology, i.e. hands for feet have to be wicked in a fight.

*raises hand* Michael's trained in several martial arts (karate, jujitsu, judo and sambo in canon - possibly others?) and adept at applying them to actual hand to hand situations.

Might be fun to work with someone who has different physical limitations. :)

I Am Looking For: Sparring partners! He's trying to be good and practice his swordsmanship. Archery training is good, too, since he'll need it for that ~destiny thing.

Both Sameth and Will can help with this. Sameth would probably work best since they already know each other. Will does archery, well they both do, lots of options.

I'll be a little busy this coming week as I move but by next weekend should be settled and good. Let me know what works for you.
