I have to say, I'm loving the unintentional plot that the Huntsman created with a few offhand and hungover comments to Teja. As a result:

Teja had stern words with Orpheus regarding his gift with music,
Orpheus bled anger everywhere, culminating in him being injured by Theresa, and protected by a reluctant Teja,
And Steve Rogers got off to a bad start, defending Orpheus to Teja.

All in all, I am LOVING the fall-out. As opposed to Huntsman, who wants to crawl into a hole and never come out. Or will, when he finds out everything that's happened, and how it's all his fault. *facepalm*

Oh yes, definitely! I find all of us very awesome, suddenly coughing up plot like that.

To add some of the backstory (even if it didn't happen this week): In one memorable post of the Huntsman washing himself in the lake, Teja hired him as a forge-helper, and Orpheus tried to flirt with him, which did not go exactly well.

When the Huntsman tells Teja about it, he didn't think that flirtation quite appropriate, either.

Orpheus and the Huntsman meet again as the Huntsman is tending bar, and have the sparklingly brilliant idea to take the bottle up to the Huntsman's room, where we learn, for the umpteenth time in Milliways history, that drunken sex to prove a point usually has unpleasant consequences.

Teja sees the fallout the next day, in the shape of a horrible hung-over Huntsman, but still doesn't make the connection to what actually happens. The Huntsman finally blurts that out after the Teresa incident (of which he knows nothing, and Teja will definitely not tell him), but still before the moment that Teja must make his report to Belar, which will presumably happen today. Teja actually thinks, by now, the Huntsman can file it under 'bad experience': - only at the first meeting with the added musical magic were actual rules broken, all the rest can be chalked up to 'monumentally bad judgement' and is best forgotten. The poor Huntsman is still beating himself up about it, but that's no Security matter.

Also, Teja will be quite adamant that none of this is the Huntsman's fault, but most of it is to be blamed on Milliways, and happenstance, and if any person at all is to be blamed, it's that irritating Greek godling...


In other news: Loki! Teja even takes his/her side in a discussion with Rae Seddon.

I dropped Bolin (and Pabu) into the bar! So far, I am making flappyhands of delight over every single thread in that EP -- thank you, folks who tagged. <3333

I had two job interviews first and second, one on Tuesday and the other on Friday. I've packed up most of my apartment, today is for sorting clothes and food.

Tonight is my last reference shift on campus and Tuesday the movers arrive. Also I finished a fic for an exchange and have started another fic for a different exchange. I love writing as gifts.

My RP has been rather slow but I have to shout out my amazing canonmate; Erik Lensherr tries to not think about Charles, Milliways doesn't help.

Tumnus met Bolin and Pabu, there was much confusion all around. Pabu just seems like he should be talking.

Will met Jim Gordon and I love introductions where Will isn't believed. Ali plays a great Jim. He also met the Huntsman and they bonded over being of other times.

Demeter tries to help John Winchester. She will soon be finding out about all the chaos around Orpheus, Teja and the Huntsman and will not be pleased.

Over in the sandboxes, Tiwa talked with an interesting young woman, a sailor of sorts and Coral Sandhu. Charles was incredibly unimpressed by a thief and reconnected with Switzerland and Liechtenstein. The sandboxes EPs are still open with slowtime warnings.

Now to head back into packing and grab some lunch.

Um. I took the New York and New Jersey bar exams! That. That was a thing.

That's also why I didn't get around to tagging anything until Friday. But I am done now! And currently working on an OOM I've been waiting to write for weeks. It's fun!

So I'm like totally ignorant on the subjects of bar exams, but do you know when you'll get the results back or have you already gotten them back and yay for taking them regardless? :D?

We get the results in November for both. So yeah, it kind of takes forever :\ But at least at this point it's out of my hands.

Otherwise, my main thing this week: Red and Alcide, only just getting around to wolfy experience comparison.

I'm currently catching up on them as Demeter in my head is going, I don't like any of this. She'll want to talk to Apollo at some point as she's trying so hard to be fair but that doesn't come easy.

Weeeeell, come the end of next month (since August merits TWO full moons and this one's bad schedule-wise) she's probably going to brave the full moon at Milliways. There's less danger at the bar than there is back home (especially when the only person around for miles is her BFF...). Someone around who knows what's what would definitely help! Otherwise, knowing she's not alone is going to do wonders for her. :D

- started a new file of Super Mario Galaxy 2 and am not nearly as bad at it as I thought I was, although...I have played it before...

Ben bumped into another canonmate (and YEAH! Carol is in da bar!) and I put up an EP with him toasting Sally Ride (cause he wouldn't leave me alone until I did).
Kate Kane popped in to raze a poor helpless Voodoo.
Julie meet the Huntsman and isn't quite sure he isn't a super hero despite what he says.
In the sandboxes, the Percy Jackson-verse Dionysus showed up for a bit and a new voice has joined my crowd, one Theodosia Throckmorton (as Fi mentioned above).

In RL, my daughter sang the National Anthem live for both days of her swim meet this weekend and beat her times on all of her events!
